Certain topics are just bound to set people off like religion and politics. Over in those forums its just a given that people are going to debate and argue and its permitted of course as long as it remains civil and remarks dont become personal insults or cross that line. Thats all good.
But sometimes just stupid threads turn into huge arguments and since they are ridiculous or unintelligent to begin with, the emotions tend to run higher and people begin lambasting one another over their favorite type of cheese or when is the proper time to break up with your boyfriend. I usually give it about 8-9 posts before someone has to take an innocent comment out of context or way too personally and start a big skirmish with 15 people.

Doing my part to keep the drive alive. Speaking of driving, I won't be doing much of that tomorrow they are calling for 7 inches of snow. And I live in PA why? Come to Sacramento and see Gov. Arnold's cigar tent, or the train museum, a walk in the sunshine along the river in shirt sleeves (today), have icecream or 200 kinds of Taffy, buy a great hat, Watch the teens line dance at Joe's Crab Shack, See and antebelum paddlewheeler, play pool at Fanny Anne's and have a burger to die for, ride the train or kiss your sweetie in a horse drawn carriage and dance the night away at a club or catch a baseball game or a Theater show. |
