The lack of respect I have seen over past week makes me sick to my stomach. I can not believe sometimes this is an Adult Site. The childish games, name calling, and belittling of others really pisses me off.
How some of you can sleep at night amazes me. We are in the middle of war, the biggest economic crisis we have ever seen, and should be compassionate toward one another, YET some think they are better for whatever reason..... When you can walk in someone Else's shoes and see life as they do, When you are so perfect, that no one compares to your greatness, When you have no wants, no problems, then you my friend are God. Until, then learn some manners, show some respect, and compassion for others. |

Did I miss something Unfortunately, it has been harder to miss lately. Some people are just being downright hurtful and ugly to others. And I think people are finally beginning to get fed up with it. If you can't say something nice, just don't post. |

It's more than one person, more than one thread.
But if you Read and not SCAN what people type, you will see it. Granted it is the Net, however sometimes especially when you are down, it still hurts. Some call it humor, but I see no humor in belittling or mentally abusing others. |

But seriously, you are right. It seems that some kind of perverse pleasure is obtained from putting down or belittling someone else. The old "make yourself feel bigger by making someone else feel smaller" routine. Pitiful really. |

Only speakin for myself, but if someone wants to make fun of me for bein a Redneck, I say go for it! Too many people are worried about bein so politically correct all the time. Life is short, relax and enjoy it. Granted there are some people who are jacka$$es, but jeez just ignore them. Give em attention an ur doin exactly what they want u to do.

Although I hardy post that much, when I did first start coming here people where and still are acting the way Kojack has in his post, childish games, name calling, and belittling stuff etc etc etc.. has been going on this very site probably since it started up. None the less as I've alway's been told if you don't have noting nice to say then you shouldn't be saying anything at all.
I don't mind talking to others online etc, but this site for sure makes me at times want to move far away from it and there has been times I've thought about right out deleting my account etc because of the way others have acted etc. But I made my mind up that I would not be posting as much etc etc etc instead. Also what bothers me a bit is the amount woman vs men or men vs woman hate topics, no body should hate any body or dislike any body or one because really no body knows any body or one 100 & 10 %. But yeah I can see and understand where Kojack can be coming from and why he and others are fed up etc. |

Jimmy, may I introduce you to Scott, (kojack)...<<< one of the site moderators. Sometimes people need reminders/warnings, before other actions are taken here on Mingle...could be the reason for this thread? The immaturity of some of the so called 'adults' amaze me sometimes.

Right. Try telling your fellow boss-men there at Mingle.
Flat out call names and belittle and it's perfectly okie dokie. But....subtle sarcasm with no mean intent get's you suspended.... Sheesh.... I'll tell you what else is pitiful. People who report everyone repeatedly whenever they don't happen to like what they say. |
