I'll be the first to admit, I find bodily functions such as fartin an burpin to be hilarious. We all do it, contrary to those that claim they don't.
I've had an will continue to have fartin contests with my 10 yr old son. grumble One of these days I will actually win! I've taught him the joy of sluggin down a root beer an then burpin the ABC's. I've taught him the fine art of lettin a fart go in Wal-Mart an gigglin as u stealthly walk away. I've also taught him the proper way to give a 'dutch oven'. There's nuthin like a good bondin experience with ur kids.
For those uptight, rigid folks who can't see the humor in a well blown toot, here's one for u

Tormenting one's own child isn't really abuse. Not if they are realy grossed out and learn to fear and respect you for your ability to out gross them

I thought it was funny as hell to have taught my kids how to burp the ABCs, until the day my daughter demonstrated for her teacher and several parents during an 'academic night' at school. I tried to play it off like she must have learned from one of her friends, but my daughter wasn't having it, and proudly announced that she's still practising to be as good as Mom! oops
