Those people who never post..but they are "online now"

What are you doing?

Are you 'mutual matching"?

Searching?
nudging someone?
just having the webpage open?

What's going on?

Alright let's get this straight. Let's say I'm a person who doesn't go to the forums and chit chats..so

I'm gonna open my webpage to the mingle website...alright..so

I search around, but after the 10th search..I kinda start to notice the same faces and so on...
So the next time you search I'm only looking for people you haven't seen yet.

Then you nudge them? mails them? And how long does that take? couple of minutes?

And then what? Seeing them being online for hours, but obviously not posting anything on the forums, so what are you doing? what

There should be a law against it, its like stalking. But then again, some people dont even know about the forums.

Someone reminded me that there are people that log on only when they get notification of e-mail. So that "Last seen over a month ago" doesn't mean we won't ever see them again. Some folks IM and email.
Lurker, Perv'n, sneeky peeky types.
Some folks don't like to do the forums at all.spock

I would think that sometimes they exit the site without logging out. They're not at the computer, but still showing as online.

And I'm guilty of just leaving the computer on, so I'm online 24/7 most days, cause I never feel the urge to sign out.

I wander away from my computer all the time. Everything is open and on... Come back to several angry IM's wanting to know where I'm at.

Some sites will log you out automatically, like plentyoffish, but I'm pretty sure this one does not.

Sometimes it shows I am online for days. That just means I didn't log out. I am guilty of that. Times when I put the page on bottom and leave it there.
