Okay so this will probably come across as a generalization but I'm curious.

The last 10 guys I've spoken with via email have come across with an almost instant "I love you" and I think we'd be great together. Within 2 days! These are men between 30 and 50 so I'd hope they actuaLly be mature.

I'm slamming on the brakes trying to back up and figure out how we went from basic chitchat to a marriage proposal. And I point blank am telling them that I can't make any decision like that till we meet and am certainly not jumping that far ahead.

What's up with that?

Think positive. At least they ask you to marry them before they explain in graphic detail what they'd like to do to you after they've undressed you. drinker

I get those as well(from women), and it tends to make me question a new acquaintance, till enough time has gone by to make an educated decision.

They are in love of meeting you, the hopes of whatever they are looking for, the excitement of the possibilities or they are probably just horny like hell.

Love takes time, for each new love it's takes different amount of time but 2 days and a few emails/talks is not love, just hormones.

Thank you lonetar.

Craig, you're funny. Your email cleared out however.

Yes, i'm always careful. I just find it strange. We discuss music, the animals, neutral stuff. I don't even k ow how it jumps to anything more! Talking about chickens and pet turkeys isn't THAT exciting! Lol.

Yes, it's a generalization BUT it's even weirder when you are my age and it's a 19 year old wanting to ummmmm...."love" you! noway

I honestly think that these are scammers. This is generally their GOP...

anyone that tells you they love you from a few emails has some serious issues, IMO.

those are the ones that I used to really press to meet in person...(of course, I knew that they would come up with 100's of excuses why they couldn't meet...) they tended to go away pretty quick...

Please, be very careful.

I agree with lighthouselover
90% of the time its they want something.
The other 10% is insecurity.

Could be any number of things.

Exceptional loneliness.

Extreme insecurity. Just being overly happy that anyone at all is paying attention to them.

A little ( or a lot ) out in left field.

Scammer. Just trying to sink their hooks into some lonely, gullible woman.
