Not on here. I'm new here :) But I was on a different site for a little while. Emailed a number of people with almost 0 response (be nice  ). I need meet one terrific woman and we hung out for a few months but we were looking for 2 different things and decided to go our separate ways. well there's your problem all the good ones are here |

Here is a question I can't wrap my head around. I find there are a lot of people who are on multiple "dating sites" that say they are looking for a "nice, funny down to earth guy..." but if you email them they never respond. Now I know not everyone is going to respond to your emails but geesh ever think the reason you might be having a hard time finding a "good guy" is because you won't give anyone a chance? Anyways it's late and I felt like ranting :) Annnnnddddd....the sound of indifference is deafening...lmao |

I use one other site that is more suited for dating; I consider this more of a social network for friends. Do you honestly think if someone is looking for “the” one that he or she would be in one small niche of a site? With all the people in this world, the chances of finding the right one is near impossible anyway and to only use one dating tool diminishes a person’s chances even more. As someone else said, there are no rules to replying. Sometimes a nice “no thank you” receives a nasty reply – and tis better to just not respond. If a person doesn’t reply, you are probably not their type by attraction or commonalities. I have a 40% success rate in return emails when I initiate; I think that is about average. "Looks don't matter, it's what's on the inside that counts" means "Looks do matter and I'm not going to write you back unless you're perfect." "Don't be afraid to contact me, I don't bite" means "I don't write back either." "I love sports" means "I don't know the first thing about sports." People write what they think they need to write in order to be noticed and accepted. The problem is that everyone has reached this same deceptive conclusion, so they all end up writing the same deceptive profile....over and over and over....did you know that 93.2% of all people on dating sites are "laid back and easy going"? They're thinking about making it mandatory.... |
