wtf is wrong with using the word f%#k. Its the beginning of life, and what we all love to do the most... well most of us anyways... so.............

who is to say what is swearing and bad should society control the manner in which one expresses themselves what is the difference if they use the "f bomb" or some other word meaning the same thing only substituted (like truck) heard this many times myself what if a group of people were offended by the name }gay} this was a name given to girls back in the 40s and 50s should this word be banned as well and what should the punishment be for breaking the censorship rule should any none indangering statement be banned (yes yelling fire in a movie theater or some simular place is inciting panic which causes erratic and paniced behavior thus leading to possible injury (unless of course there is a fire i guess lying in general is a bad thing should it be against the law to lie interesting very interesting

I drop the C-bomb often...it demystifies & takes the sting out of the word. Imagine getting your panties all in a twist over a 4 letter word! Puh-leeeeeeeaze! I have bigger things to worry about...

I've come to notice that ppl use the word f@ck like they would use "and" and "the". I'm no prude and have certainly dropped the f-bomb many times in my life, but it's not part of my everyday vocabulary. What happened to class? Do ppl not care anymore how they come across to others? Use it when it really means something, whatever the situation. I find that when someone uses it too often, it makes them seem like less than what they are, and it doesn't have the same impact it should have anymore. I have select Tourettes Syndrome. I sometimes don't realise I'm swearing when it suits me!

I hear ya on that it is part of the vocab now, well that is the way it looks. And about class I am sure there are people around that have that.

I have no need to swear i think i can make my point without swearing regardless of the company i am with. Anna x I agree. There is a time and place for everything. But I believe those who choose to use those words on the regular are not behaving as if they have class. We wouldnt walk around unbathed , people would call us a bum. But somehow, having a filthy mouth doesnt imply anything,,,,? I think everything makes an impression, from how we choose to speak (and when) to how we dress and carry ourselves. I'm really glad I could gave a rats azz what others think of me... I can swear and be called classless or go without bathing and be called a bum..and could give a flying ***k in a rolling doughnut what others think.. awww, it's so liberating

I use, "effin", as in "The effin Dell tech won't call me about my laptop!", or "eff", as in "What the eff are you doing, calling me at 3 a.m. Mr. Dell tech?" "Frickin'" seems more powerful, I'm guessing in part due to the hard "F" at the beginning..."Are you out of your FRICKIN' MIND?" In more conservative environs, I substitute "stinkin'": "I wish that STINKIN' Dell tech would call!" Admittedly, I have used a "God bless America!" on too many occasions. It's still taking Gods' name in vain, me thinks. I cringe when I hear a kid younger than fifteen say "WTF?"!
