Make payments arrangements with them, most will do that. No prayers if ya don't want them, how about just some good thoughts and love...

Depends on who your carrier is, they may take a partial payment, or give you time to catch up....

Check here and see ir you qualify for “Lifeline Across America”.

if its the first month you haven't paid ur ok until next month takes a while to b disconnected...
otherwise they should set up payment arrangements for like a month after you call or accept partial payment.....
maybe they have a crisis dept.. I know credit card companies do...I settled all my credit debt for less than half after spending a day explaining to everyone I owe money that my home had been burned down beforw last christmas

What he said, plus call your local social service agencies (local/county/state/fed). spend time doing your research. Have a pen and paper ready. Everyone you talk to ask- 'well, do you know anyone/agency that might help, have their #'. If they say they are going to connect you, get the number before they do in case you get disconnected. Get names of people you talk to, the nicer you are to them (alot of the time) the nicer people want to help you)

Find out how long you can go without paying it. I mean if it takes three months before they start talking about a disconnect, you have some time to play with it as far as getting caught up.
But yes contact them, let them know your situation, and pay something.

When my brother got sick and my parents couldnt afford to pay his bill they called up his service provider and explained the circumstances and the provided was very understanding and said that due to everything they would wave that months bill which i still appreciate. So try that i guess if you r willing to share with the provide what the problem is well good luck with whatever you choose to do

It is important to make arrangements. Even if you make a partial payment most companies will work with you. Especially if you have documentation of your health issues. Make sure to note if it is likely that you would need local access for emergency intervention. If you have certain conditions it is possible that you could get a reduced rate on your power utilities thatn would leave you more funds for a phone. Same goes for asking for food assistance. You don't say if this is a hard line or a cell service but it is possible with medical issues they will let you suspend your contract without additional costs and make payments.

You are in my prayers, Prisoner. God always looks after his children, just open your heart to him and he will assist you through these rough times. Bless you.

In the meantime stop spending money on lapdancers and pay your bill. Or maybe your mum could assist you.

Have your service changed to local only.. this way your bill will only be $12 per month.
then use a pre-paid calling card for the long distance.

This is one of the good answers.
Also if you have seen your doctor call the office (after getiing all the phone numbers from the phone company) ask the office to have a letter written on what you have and if it is medically nessary to have your phone stay on. This will buy you time till you get a chance to get it payed off.
