Sin is such a subjective word. Doing bad things to survive in a tough world is well, standard operating procedure. In the real world the strong overpower the weak and might does make right.

Now if the sinner was a good person at heart and trying to constantly to do the right thing I would forgive. A self centered dirt bag? Let me say revenge is best served cold. Then again trapping them in a world of total darkness alone and cut off from everyone else for eternity? pitchfork Now that is hell. pitchfork

Then again what I would do would be tainted because I have human feeling and sensativaties. Can God punish a Tiger for killing to eat? Doesn't make sense.

Besides wouldn't being god be boring and lonely? Supposedly there can only be one.

To globally punish all mankind for being so unevolved? Naw. The fact is that life itself is a huge experiment (via evolution) and humans are under constant change. Say a cataclysm ended all life as we know it and only the sinners survived because they were strong enough. If they were strong enough to survive adversity does their nature deserve punishment? I would leave that to others like say an alien race that made it here and we antagonized them and they hand us our ***, then I would say God did punish the sinners then.

Short answer, NO.

Now supposedly God gave us freedom of choice. If we do not have a wrong choice what freedom do we have? So if I were a God and got pissed off one day and wiped out mankind just because I was mad, does that not make me a hypocrite of a god? Therein lies my problem with Christianity because if God made good and evil and the Devil it means that our "loving" god is playing both sides of the fence.

What a philosophical can of worms you have opened!

I'd weigh the good with the bad,,,which must be a TERRIBLY complicated task to undertake considering how complex people are.

Randy Newman said it best in 'God's Song' (a/k/a 'That's Why I Love Mankind') ...

And the Lord said ...

"I burn down your cities - how blind you must be

I take from you your children and you say "how blessed are we"

You must all be crazy to put your faith in me -

That's why I love mankind.

You really need me ...

That's why I love mankind"

If I were God?

I'd hold them accountable for what they've done, but everyone would be able to seek redemption. What they do for penitance would weigh on whether or not they are absolved. I don't believe in eternal punishment, but I do believe someone can absolve themselves through acts of righteousness.

if I was God I would make everyone a God ...yes there may be a chance that someone will create people and allow them to suffer and demand that they worship them or be torture for all eternality ....but what kind of God or person would do that ..

Sadism is worshipping Satan. What is so wrong and hard about loving the God that created you? Got a question for you, if you have children in this world do you not punish them for doing the oposite of what you told them to do? Yes, perents punish their children for being disobediant.

God used to punish people directly here on earth for what they did wrong. Eye for an eye, ear for an ear kind of system. But that prophecy was completed with the coming of Jesus. So we no longer are punished for what we do here on earth until we pass away. We will then get punished or praised for the way we lived.

But always keep that in mind, would you not punish your children for disobeying you?

no Satanism is worshipping Satan ...sadism is a condition in which a person or in this case a supernatural entity receives pleasure from intentionally inflicting pain upon others

so I can assume that if you were God you would create people and allow them to suffer

that is a question to ponder...would the religious if they were God do things the same way God does them now ....or would they consider the fact that God created people to suffer to be evil

the bigger question for me is how to create something that you give CHOICE too but remove their CHOICE to be 'evil' (I prefer sinful but I will use your word for the sake of the explanation)? I believe God created us with choice, and we often choose those things which bring us satisfaction in the immediate present but cause suffering in the long run. Its a life of trial and error in which we hopefully learn enough as we go to suffer less and less by making better and better choices...

you still didn't answer the question....the question is not for God it is for you.....so would you yourself personally (MsHarmony)the woman with the black hair in the avatar... create people, suffering and evil like your God has done ...yes no and why

yes, and what avatar ?

suffering and evil are pretty subjective terms,, but YES , I would create them with the ability to choose for themself their actions and words,,,,,

and why? well, as my mom used to put it 'IF I just wanted someone to agree with me all the time, Id look in a mirror'

diversity is the spice of life and when people can make INDIVIDUAL choices, life becomes more than an existence (like an animal or robot) and 'conscience' has value...
