It's probably the most faithful adaptation I've seen of Lovecraft's work.

There are a lot of movies, but very few stick close to the original source- I think this is mainly because they aren't the easiest stories to adapt to screen.

Here's some good Lovecraft adaptations(just keep in mind they aren't all close adaptations- but still entertaining)
