My Mother and step-father had theirs donated for that purpose.

I will give my wife the number to call for after death. I wanna' make sure she waits for me to die and doesn't get the idea of pushing me over the edge. Just teasing!!

What do ya'll think of that idea?

Well, that could be arranged!!! I really don't know!! I've thought & thought about it & still haven't signed the donor thing on my drivers license. I'm still a little mixed on my feelings on donating. I've never judged others for making that choice. Just something I'm not sure of myself.

Hummmmmmm they can have my organs if they are any good but I'm being cremated I don't want my body being dissected and probed at then thrown a way........

My mother donated her body to the OHIO ST University Medical Center.. But you need to register ahead of time with whoever you want to donate to.. makes it a lot easier as they will take care of all the arrangements..
My first husband donated enough organs to help 13 people.. I am a registered organ donor and they can have anything else they can use. Then I will be cremated and my ashes are going to Sedona, AZ, my most favorite place...

They won't take mine for the organs but maybe I could donate it to science. sorta like how'd she get through all that and keep coming back?

At least make them treat you to a movie and a dinner, and a respectful hug at the door!

This particular co. will do the cremating free and send your family the ashes in s heart shaped urn.

They also handle all the funeral home expenses. The family has no cost involved to them.

Trust me....you don't want another Goofball running around after the original is dead and buried.

They can do whatever they want with my body , my organs..they can even cut my hair. None of it will matter to me anymore...

I told my family I wanted to donate my body to science-- or at least hopefully be able to give organs. I am not sure the exact rules but my mom told me if I die before her she will not let that happen. She doesnt believe in it

I think in the not so far future organ donation will become an outdated option. Stemcell research has shown more promising success rates, and people wont have to wait years on some list.

I believe desecrating ones body is totally up to the person (use whatever justification you want)... for me I choose not to be an organ donor..

You know...it may not be too far into the future, where we order body parts, like you do when you order something from Sears & Roebuck catalog.

Or like a junk yard for auto parts, they just get on their network system, and ask if anyone has a certain part for a particular model of person...age, sex, etc, etc.
