INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - A computer simulation of the 2001 World Trade Center
attacks supports a federal agency's findings that the initial impact
from the hijacked airplanes stripped away crucial fireproofing material
and that the weakened towers collapsed under their own weight.

The two-year Purdue University study, funded in part by the National
Science Foundation, was the first to use 3-D animation to provide visual
context to the attacks, said Christoph Hoffmann, a professor of computer
science and one of the lead researchers on the project.

Do you think this will put away the 9/11 conspiracy theories?

No.
Who ever wants to believe in conspiracy will continue to do so.

A two year Purdue University Study! How many young students do you
reckon were involved in concocting that fake information, devinci?
And they are keeping them all quiet about it. How do you rckon they make
that happen? Threatened their parents lifes?
This conspiracy grows with the number of participants everyday. They
should recruit them all in the CIA. This has to be the best kept secret
in the country! Maybe, they drugged them all AYE!!!

I dont buy it!!!drinker drinker

AW Cmon guys.

The government my do stupid things from time to time but they are not
stupid.

If they wanted to put this conspiricy hogwash to rest they would just
'secretly' fund a few well placed unattached 'think tanks' with 'black
funds' and bury us all with 'scientificlly valid' data. Not through
governmentaly funded foundations but lots of 'independent' ones.

Much like the C-Theroy people are doing but with real science and not
schemetic science.

Like I said, I don't buy the conspiracy. There would have to be at least
a couple thousand people, all keeping complete secrecy about this grand
scheme. Hell, they cant get five people to stick with the same story
without at least one of them leaking the story to the press!
Now we are supposed to believe a couple hundred College students, a few
professors, and everyone involved in the National Science foundation are
all keeping the secret about false results in a study????
Not Likely!!!

you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that when the fire
heated the beams in the towers to about 1400 degrees F. (red hot) the
beams lost most of their strength and were no longer able to support the
weight above them. When the floors above colapsed, the whole building
went down. If you notice, the building that was hit the lowest went
first because there was more weight above the the failed beams was much
greater. As for the conspiracy theory, if you believe that perhaps you
would be interested in the little piece of land I have been trying to
sell down by the swamp. One side faces the water, the top. happy

You know what's funny? People who cry to anyone who'll listen about
how the "Man" or the "System" or my favorite "The Goverment"(as if those
were their names) is robbing us of our freedoms and suppressing the
"Truth" about everything from what's in your Oreos to what happened on
9/11 and THEN when an opposite view is offered they say that you want to
believe whatever you're told or that *ahem* "You gotta love people that
live life wearing blinders." Why is their viewpoint less valid than
your's? Because you don't agree with it? Congratulations, you and
POTUS belong to the same club. Better yet, you, POTUS, AND Osama Bin
Laden belong to the same club since it would seem that none of you
believe any viewpoint is valid except your's.

Personally I think that 9/11 was the work of terrorists. Am I saying
I know what happened that day? Nope, and anyone who says they know is
full it. As Fanta said earlier, you're asking thousands of people to
keep a secret that could wreck our country destroying everything we
stand for and making us more despicable than our worst enemies. Think
about that, most people can't keep a secret any longer than it takes
them to find someone to tell said secret. That isn't my point though,
my point is that even if you don't agree with someone you should at
LEAST listen to them on the off-chance they know something that *gasp*
you don't.
