Who said anything about NOT believing in any God..isn't God force and life force the same thing? Why does the verbiage have such importance...
we are really all wanting and doing the same thing, just in different ways.

I don't understand...it seems the verbiage is more important than the intent.
Just saying that I don't believe in that stuff spock
What about the Holy Spirit?

yep..I do full moon fires and invoke non physical energy, I ASK it in and it comes...in a good way. It's a beautiful thing.
Is it possible to invoke without intent?

Not for me...
Are Spirits involved? or is that the same thing?

ah, I went and edited my reply, I misread the first time.

for me it is impossible to invoke or do anything without intent. Intent is what we create with.

spirits, life force, god force, ancestors, energy of love, non physical w/same intent, to me it's all the same.

I don't draw in any 'thing' with bad intent...it's specifically, intentionally excluded. Eh, kinda hard to explain.

So the type of energy is determined by intent?

I suppose that would depend on your intentions...

Is it involved with Karma?

Some people (Magicians?) seem to have it figured out.

Where there is stage magic, and spirtiual magick. (that's why I use a "k" at the end of the word to distinquish which I'm referring to)

Stage magic is the art of illusion. Illusions are very reall and can trick large audiences into believing that they saw something occur which didn't truly occur in the way it appeared to occur. That's why these kinds of magicians are also often called "Illusionists"

The magi that perform spiritual magic (i.e. the actual tranformations of real energy forces) were synonomous with "priests", "Witchdoctors" and "Shamans" in the past. Because they were viewed as having a connection with supernatural powers. This is the very basis for many religions including the most popular religions in the world today. The very act of crucifying a man and then bringing him back to life, would certainly be an act of spiritual magick, unless of course it was just a illusion trick, in which case it would have merely been stage magic (or illusion).

Modern science has clearly recognized and verified that we do indeed tranform energy every day. Any psychologist will tell you that the moods we have will indeed affect the energy we have. So the basis of energy tranformation is indeed well-established by both modern science and medicine.

The only real question now is how far can it be taken before it's viewed as being turly magickal?

Everyone should practice magickal technigues to see how far they can perfect them. In fact, many people do who don't even realize that they are practicing this ancient art. For example, if you simply enter into a program where you are focusing only on positive constructive thoughts to build your positive energy, then guess what? You are automatically practicing the art of tranforming negative or non-constructive energy into positive, or constructive energy.

Just simply focusing on your mood and intent is a willful act of performing "magick".

Like I say, how far you take it, will depend on how likely you are to give it a "supernatural" status.

and yet, some are afraid of the terms and verbiage used, even though they are doing it all the time themselves.

Karma has a lot to do with love and relationships, Right? So if someone can be said to be 'Lucky in Love' would that tend to indicate 'Good karma'?

Karma and intention are two different things, two different topics.

I disagree Lady.

Karma is the result of intention.

If you do bad things with the intent to do bad things Karma has something coming for you.

On the flip side of that if your intentions are good regardless to the outcome, karma will reward.

I understand what your saying...what he is asking as far as invoking energy and intentions is what my answer to him was. When I'm doing magic, invoking energy, it is my intent, not my karma that is at play.
I'm tracking with ya though.

Thoughts are powerful things if they can manifest a belief. Belief is a powerful force in the implicate order. Attitude is everything. Thinking and attitude can improve your health.

That is magic, and that stuff has been proven to be fact.
