Does anyone else get exhausted even just thinking about a relationship? Anyone else feel like it just takes too much time and energy?

The right relationship doesn't take effort. When you are with a compatible person problems are solved with ease, bickering doesn’t exist, and everything falls into place because each person is of like mind and they possess similar relationship adroitness.

Toxic relationships are the ones that are emotionally taxing and not worth the effort.

Only the bad ones, those I just don't need but who does? :)

I try not to dwell on possibly having a bad relationship. It's easy to get jaded. Luckily the hope of finding somebody fun and relaxing to be with is greater most of the time with me.

Interesting... I was talking about the good ones. Perhaps I should re-examine some things.

For me it just seems to take much more energy and effort than the average person.

FYI- woman tied up in basement doesn't always equal "good relationship"

All relationships take work. They all take time, if your not willing to put in the time then what is the point in you trying to find a relationship.

Even though socializing and dating seem to be more difficult for me, that dosen't mean I'm not willing to put in the effort. If I want something, I'll go get it.

As far as falling in love, I'm not sure if I ever will, at least I don't see it happening anytime soon. But, who knows? Perhaps a special someone may come along and persuade me to open my heart to her.

I do enjoy meeting and talking to people, like I said it just seems to take more than it should is all.

And as far as them being tied up in the basement, I don't have a basement. I use my bedroom closet. Perhaps I should get a basement.

I don't know, I haven't been in a relationship in so long, I don't recall whether I had to think about it or not. I'm pretty sure I just "winged" it, but I honestly don't remember.

Memories fade over the years. ohwell
