well, I dont know if anyone can directly tie anything in their life to the President

but under his leadership so far ,, there is increased FAVORABLE global opinion of US almost unilaterally , making more potential allies instead of enemies

http://pewglobal.org/2010/06/17/obama-more-popular-abroad-than-at-home/

under his leadership so far...I will not have unilateral credit card increases due to one credit card debt,,,

My son and I have received just a bit more financial assistance for our education to become teachers

I have extended unemployment benefits, if I should need them

my kids and grandkids will have exposure to cleaner energy

and UNLESS politicians block it, I will not have to worry about being turned down for affordable insurance,,,because I have previous health issues,,,

Obamacare needs to go away. He needs to be impeached. What you don't realize is he has spent more money in his 1st year then bush did in 8.. How can we recover from this?

what you dont realize is the same people who would be responsible for an IMPEACHMENT process AGREED and PARTICIPATED in the spending

he is the executive branch not the whole GOVERNMENT

we will recover because its how cycles work, things go down and they come back up,,,,,, we survived the great depression and we will survive this even if it means being a bit less gluttonous in our lifestyles for a while...

He bailed out the Auto industry. I was laid off untill cashs for clunkers. I have been working non stop ever since six seven days a week often twelve hour days even on saturday and sunday. By saveing the auto industry he saved countless other jobs in the supplier chain. That simple act alone probably saved the country from a depresion. Think Mccain would have done that? or Palin? They would have let the free market run its course all the way to a depresion or worse. Obama probably saved the country from the mess Bush left it in. By being recalled I got my insurence back for my kids got one kid at Kent state and the youngest got his first car. Without cash for clunkers my dreams for my kids would be down the toilet.

he also has provided quite a role model for minorities in america that in spite of past racism and current bigotry , they too can achieve great things

on a personal note, my baby cousins who also have kenyan ancestry on their fathers side and arent often sure what to think about their own identity are much more confident about 'belonging' as americans and being able to achieve the same as any other american,,,

I would agree with you but there is one small thing you are forgetting. You speak of minorities, If you are white in North America you ARE the minority. I do agree with you however when you say that the vision of all us getting along and taking care of one another does sound incredible, but I think more needs to be done on BOTH sides. You have to admit that building a mosque so close to ground zero is a touch indelicate. Now I'm not saying screw Islam or anything like that because I have said from day one that it isn't the creed we are fighting, we are fighting the people who would use such a creed as a means to kill. Again I'm not saying that white or Christian armies have not done terrible things, but it should at least be agreed that this particular situation was not instigated by us. I saw a religious press conference on CNN today, and the priest brought up the amendment that all will have freedom of religious expression, well we also have the right to bear arms, especially when we are attacked. I hate evil Christians to the same extent as I hate evil Muslims and evil purple people!! I hate the bad in every race. Now we must all fear evil men, but there is another evil which we must fear most, and that's the INDIFFERENCE of good men/women. If all of these Muslims did not want their regime (Taliban)to attack us, how could they have let it happen? Our leaders don't attack unless they have the proper support. I'm all for moving with the times, and taking steps towards peace, but until I see that same desire from the people in Iraq and Afghanistan, you must understand why it is hard to be so forthcoming and trusting. I am not a bigot, I am not racist, and I am not consumed with hatred, but trust is earned, and as far as I'm concerned, they have a lot of making up to do. If they were so concerned about us, maybe those billions that are for this mosque could've been used in a more nationally approved manner, whether it be helping aid the families who lost loved ones in 9/11, or even to help with the construction of the new towers. Poor decisions, and indelicate choices were made on their part.

I love to read the vapid and tendentious (not to mention pretentious) 'claims', 'testimony', and 'witnessing' from the ever-so-ig'nant 'Obama Choir' ... It seems there are several villages now with a job opening [sic] ...

He stopped us from being in a depression hopefully.
He has put more security on the border than any other president.
He has shown the world that we are not ignorant arrogant hillbillies with no class like Bush made us out to be.
He has taken on the big problems left to him from those before him with gusto and decorum.

I am proud to have him as the president of these here United States. I hope he decides to stick around for a while.

not quite, http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/00000.html

2009, white people are still nearly 80 percent of the american population,, not a minority by any mathematical standard

as to the rest, I appreciate you clarifying your feelings, more does need to be done on both ends, starting with someone stepping up to be more than just a finger pointer and being a problem solver instead

family feuds or nationalist fueds, are rather pointless and the responsibility of both sides, in my opinion

He raised my taxes.
He made America less safe in the world.
He has offended the vast majority of Americans.
He has perverted the Constitution and broken our laws for political gain.

He has brought racism into the limelight of politics by being racist himself.

He has shown the world how ignorant he is and how he gets away with illegal activity with the help of the racist news media.

He has broken every promise he's made, and has outrageously lied to the people and done the "bait & switch" tactic on them.

The list goes on and on........

MLK would roll over in his grave. He wanted a color blind society not one based on the color of your skin but the character of your heart and mind. Sometimes I feel discriminated against and I am white. My daughters have felt the same in schools that go on and on about black history not all history. When I went to school we talked about all the important people in history, black, white, chinese, native american. (Do any of you know about chief Tecumsh) My daughters didn't learn any if it in school. I grew up during the civil rights movement. Need to go away with any advantage regardding race regardless of the race.
