I'm just wondering why so many ladies in my age group think posting pics of their ankle biters as their main pic is a good idea.
 Any thoughts or insights ? What are your pet peeves concerning profile pics ? |

Who laughs at what they themselves write? It is rather like saying how good-looking you are. Best left to the audience. |

20 or 30 year old pics...
Profile pics with multiple people in them and no indication of which one the user is. (like Lex stated) One far off pic of the user and 5 closeups of dogs, a glass and a throw pillow... lingerie, bathing suits, or discreetly hidden nude pics. (when statements like "Guys are creeps" or similar is added) All 18 pics are in bar settings. (Hmmm, what do you wanna do tonight?) |

20 or 30 year old pics... Of the few ladies I have met in person from a dating site, only one used a recent pic, but it turned out she was married with her hubby and kids waiting unsuspectingly at home.  |

Then the others look like Geraldo Rivera in a clown suit, and Uncle Phil in a duck mask, and Joan Rivers as a woman. I get the sense that the cute one is always the bait. Although then you have to wonder why is she hanging out with these other people? |

I think the first thing that gets me is when they say they are good looking...another is to see hot, sexy, posed pics of themselves and then within the same group of pics, pics of their kids...just don't mix well with me for some reason....but I don't care for people posting pics of kids on their profiles anyway...too many peds on the loose...but that's just my opinion.

The pics that people post shows what they care about, it give an insight to the person so if they post a pic of their ankle biter or dead animal and you do not like those things then you should recognize that as a red flag for you that you might not be a match. But the scammer profiles get to me, the picture looks too good and they say all the right things that a guy wants to hear...you know they can not be real...lol.
BTW, in defense of the "LOL" I use them online to show that I am joking in my writings since sarcasm can be hard to spot, I would not want to think that someone takes my jokes seriously... |

I'm sorry that you don't care for my kid pics... C'mon now though... Aren't they cute ?

It don't bother me what kind of pictures they have up as they say pictures tell a lot about a person. As long as they have a few that are just them by themselves so at least you know who they are. The rest to me are just bits and pieces of whom that person is....besides I have one of the most loving dogs around.....
