Have you ever been so certain that you were meant for a particular destiny, but it simply did not seem as if it was going to manifest?
did you change what you thought was your purpose or did you follow through? Did you fail or suceed or are you still trying? |

I always thought I would be a scientist.
Had the intellect, the desire, the think-outside-the-box aspect too. I did not go there for one reason. Making a living always came first. I did that really well. Still.. |

I've had dreams....and some of them I have lived...
I have had one solid dream since I was little...to live on the land, grow food, create food forests, have animals around me...and in an old timber house...included in that, was a table...with many seats either side...and lots of laughter, and joyful faces around it...a family...in whatever form that took...I have all of it now. I dreamed a life....and now I live my dream. My purpose?...I didn't know for many years....until I held my first born...then it seemed I dropped into my skin, I fit it...and became fully aware of my purpose...to be a mother...to love with a ferocity and depth I had not know existed. |

Did you fail or suceed or are you still trying? I believe we are all here to do, be or have whatever we want, that there is an imprint, so to speak on our souls. We all have something we are meant to do. Biggest issue for most is knowing what. If your having a strong pull in a a particular direction I would say go for it with everything you've got. We need to keep in mind while were 'going for it' that timing is also important, the universe delivers in it's time frame, not ours. Some would say timing is everything. I don't think fail or succeed even apply.....experience and growth is the end result either way. Never give up on your dreams and dream big!! |

I had a dream of a house with a white picket fence and kids playing in the yard with a partner to come home too.. Well I had that dream for a while then my bubble popped... still I managed to get me a home and raised my kids even if it missed that spouse to come home too my dream was still complete....
My kids are now grown, I ended up buying my own house it may not have a white picket fence but it does have a fence... I just recently paid my house off and paid my car off as of yesterday! Now I can spend my time with my kids and my grand kids one that is 8 and one that 2 1/2 weeks old with the third one on the way... My kids are happy and I'm happy so yes many of my dreams have come true... Do I have more, sure I do and someday maybe I will be blessed and they will come true as well................

I've had my share of dreams.
I dreamt of playing football at a higher level. That kinda took a halt when I couldn't afford to stay in college and had to become a hard working member of society. My lifelong dream is to have a family of my own. I'm almost 32 and on here, so that obviously hasn't happened yet. There have been times where the thought of "maybe this isn't meant to be" has crossed my mind a time or two, but I pick myself back up and keep trying. I will always pursue this dream |

I always wanted to be midget wrestler....(I am not even kidding)
EVERYONE loves midget wrestlers....that dream was crushed by third grade but, I still haven't been able to let it go. |

i feel like i'm wasting something sometimes..that i'm missing the point because logic and responsibility for past actions takes precedence over dreams...by the time i have everything done i've no energy left it seems. I mean i can't very well run off and be a gypsy artist in europe, now can i?

i do, otherwise i wouldn't be having this conversation There are many dreams I still have since my kids are grown and I be damn if I don't make those dreams... Right now my dream is to become debt free do all the repairs I want to do to my house and buy new furniture that I have not gotten to in the last 20 years..... That dream is getting closer as we speak by the end of next year at the latest that will be complete.... Then on to the next one... Never ever stop dreaming for it is what makes life worth while......

Did you fail or suceed or are you still trying? yes and yes again, but I am such an emotional drifter as I have said before - to add an intellectual drifter as well bad habit I have - if my "dream" does not manifest reasonably soon after a good deal of effort I get easily distracted and intellectually absorbed in the next dream so yes, I have a trail of broken dreams, very few are sad leavings, and a path ahead full of things yet to dream perhaps one day an old dream manifest, or a new one yet unknown will make me happy. happiness has been as elusive - not contentment - but happiness |

I've been very certain that I knew what I thought I knew... and was very, very wrong... simple as that. Change what I think...? Nope, simply added to what I thought; additional info brings about different conclusions. I've succeeded in my failures and will always keep trying... I don't see it as some high-school test... failure is just another lesson about what not to do. Dealing with the pain of it all is a personal walk. Alotta psycho mumbo-jumbo perhaps... but it works for me. |
