I'm not looking for anything long distance. That's pretty much the only one for now, I think.

i wont give my number out or talk off the site with anyone until i'm comfortable with it... anyone who has an issue with that can just step along... thats the only one i can think of right now...

Those are good rules. LDR's are hard for sure. And I would never give my number out to anyone until I'd exchanged a number of emails with them first. I could count on one hand who here has my number and still have fingers left over.

I've tried the long distance thing and it just doesn't work well for me. I like to be able to plan things easily and see the person I'm dating, so close by works much better!

I've also given my number to very few people here.

I just make sure I have talked to the guy on the site for a bit. Then I let people know who I'm going out with (in case anything happens) and I meet for the first time some place where I know people.

I can understand that SMS. One does have to have patience.
