In short, LDR is what we are here for.  Actually....no. Almost every new person who joins thinks they will click on a profile and within 10 minutes love will be at thier door. That is why we get so many bitter topics about how all this is fake and BS. Even considering LDR's only comes from seeing the limitations of internet dating....which are the exact same limitatins of home town dating. |

I am starting to think its not posible to find love here.Iv been on line dating for 5 years and have made some good friends but havent found love yet.5 years am i crazy? i new from the day i started liking mixed nuts there was some thing wrong with me lol.

I don't blame you on that, you should have read my original post lol. Would be impossible to feel it right away, but online dating leads a way to a possible commitment (but not always), I've had several friends who have gone through this and are happy with their married lives now. May be it takes a long time for others but who cares - long time, short time - this is a good way to get acquainted with someone, but of course meeting IRL is a must. |

Maybe but, I am betting you have probably gone 5 years without falling in love in your hometown as well. This is no different except for the fact that everyone here will at least talk to you. Think about how many chicks just walk up and start talking to you in wal-mart or in line at a convenience store? (rarely). It may not be convenient but, it does provide options who you actually get to know before meeting. |

I think it's totally possible as long as long as you're open to it. it involves a lot of blind trust and patience...but the end results can be so worth it.
