I'm not sure if this will still work ... I've been in this whole online dating since I was 26, and have had 2 steady relationships - one 3 years, and one 4 years plus. Only thing that I haven't anticipated was the chance of meeting - both guys didn't make their ways to come and see me, though both have promised that they will. Both have financial problems, but I wonder why they haven't assessed their capabilities before committing on something - this what really makes my heart sink. For now I am giving my last try, although there's this one guy whom I have met face to face already, who likes me, but I am not sure about my feelings for him. Is it still possible to meet the One on here?  Possible, but not that likely on the free sites. The subscription only sites seem to attract people who are really serious. The free ones tend to be full of flakey types and scammers. Not true. I joined match.com and it's been a waste of money. Not a single wink, like, email, nothing... I know I'm not the best looking, most attractive, sweap you off your feet guy. BUT I do know i am funny careing and I'm not ugly. Average, so either I'm doing something wrong and i dont notice it, or its a fraud/waste. Interesting! I learn something new everyday. Thanks.  I found Match.com had a lot of professional men who were looking for "substitute" wives to travel with them and because they had the money could even keep seperate addresses and phone lines so not to get tripped up. Also seemed like there were a lot of bogus profiles that would write to keep members paying but were just never quite available. |

since retiring i've lived and traveled the country in my rv so i can turn a long distance relationship into a close by relationship in a matter of days.

I have no blind trust - never happen and my patience doesn't factor in with this topic it;s something I am just not interested in so once again no but best wishes to those who are into it!  have u been feeling OK? u look a little pale in that photo - hope u r ok thats all.

i think if the two parties agree to it it will work i know some that have done the LDR an it worked for them so far i tired it once it dind't really work out that well but i know others who have

Once an LDR is established you will know if he/she is the significant other, well if you are sensitive enough LOL. On my part I learned one thing from my past LDRs - trust, dont ASSume
