Hey girl! You seem like a nice, level-headed smart lady from what I've read so far.

I can't tell you how easy it is to fall for someone (not necessarily in love) but fall, be enamored with someone else online. As far as LDR go, I'm not a huge fan of them as they take a lot of work and commitment to keep the romance flowing. I prefer someone local but that's just my own personal preference as well as convenience. I feel like if anything takes inane amounts of work, I try not to push or settle myself with someone. But I feel love can make you do some wacky things and I know I've done my fair share for the guys I've loved.

There's a lot of things to think about with LDRs: time difference, work schedules, of course finances seem to be the popular one listed. I also think it takes a great deal of trust as well as many have already said. A lot of people in IRL and online put this above all else as do I. There's gotta be that foundation of mutual trust stirring in the pot from the beginning or I think it may be doomed to decline from whence it started. And that's what really sucks. Relying on that solely to keep anything afloat.

I'm not sure if this will still work ...
I've been in this whole online dating since I was 26, and have had 2 steady relationships - one 3 years, and one 4 years plus. Only thing that I haven't anticipated was the chance of meeting - both guys didn't make their ways to come and see me, though both have promised that they will. Both have financial problems, but I wonder why they haven't assessed their capabilities before committing on something - this what really makes my heart sink.

For now I am giving my last try, although there's this one guy whom I have met face to face already, who likes me, but I am not sure about my feelings for him.

Is it still possible to meet the One on here? what

They sound like scammers to me.

REAL LONG DISTANCE GUYS will find a way to move hell or high water to get to you.

I think I'd have to ask the guy "How can we make this relationship work?", so that we would both know we could make it work. I just don't wanna get hurt again.

Honestly, where you live, I imagine a dating site like this wouldn't be the best for you. Most members here are in the US so not a large pool for you to pull from. I'd try the local scene
