Tricky.
There is a HUGE difference between the occasional
wafting of garlic and onions, and a chronic
condition of halitosis that can make you
constantly wince.
So, A, no I would not.
B, I'd be thinking about it.

If you add smelly feet then you might have a bigger problem!

My brother had very bad halitosis but my (now) sister-in-law stuck with him and made suggestions about mouthwashes and water-pik toothbrushes until he was able to get a good job with dental insurance so he could have the cause checked out...They have now been married for ten years.

It is up to the individual as to what they can handle. Personal preference.

was his breath evident to you? if so did you say something? is it something he was aware of or did the wife bring it up?

Yes, it was evident to us, and we tried to tell him about it but our opinion didn't carry as much weight as his wife's did. He knew of it also but didn't have the funds to get his mouth worked on.

so it was an actual medical problem and not a hygiene issue?

I would have to talk about it.... if there's a reason then there's not much you can do..... I remember when I was in my 20's I was with an older guy ...he had been in the Vitnam war he had some diease not catchable but, I think it was called Pia-ria that is how I remember it sounded. It was really bad I don't think we kissed much. It was something that bothered me a lot....... So I guess you need to find out the reason and take it from there! flowerforyou

I have heard that bad breath has a lot to do with what you eat. If you floss and brush regularly you can still have bad breath coming from your stomach contents.

You can get rid of bad breath, even the smell of alcohol by eating parsley. That is why parsley is often found on your dinner plate at a restaurant.

Avoid stinking up the bathroom with number 2 by putting a bit of pinesoll in the toilet before you sit down. Afterwards, flush and spray a mist of lavender or vanilla around.

Then you can say that your s*h*i*t doesn't stink. tongue2
