We all don't listen, to some degree. Some listen more then others. And I didn't specifically state Luv2roknroll at all, Cowboy since "Luv2roknroll" made the claim that God has not personally spoken to her yet, then you had to be referring to her as one of those that don't listen ..... Funches, How so? I was responding to her words, not specifically to her. If i was responding specifically to her, it would have been said as this message is said, with her name prior to the statement. Last responce on this, as it is highly not related to the topic and is not even religion affiliated. you were speaking directly to everyone that never heard God ... as I always tell you...think before you post..... Yes I was speaking to EVERYONE, very good Funches. Now explain to me how I can be speaking to everyone, yet you claim that I was specifically referring to luv2rocnroll. you yourself claim that you were responding to her words, can't get any more specific then that ....in a way you were even scolding her for not hearing God I'm trying to answer your questions...but I think you should let this one go ..... I've realize that "specifically" being religious means that you have to "specifically" turn off your common sense "specifically"...but if you do not want to be "specifically" accused of "specifically" referring to someone "specifically" ... then perhaps you should "specifically" stop using the quote option to "specifically" transplant their entire post or "specifically" any portion of their posts "specifically" into your post .... you should "specifically" think about "specifically" taking this advice "specifically" because it could save you "specifically" from a lot of heartache in your future posts "specifically" so do I "specifically" have to include your name "specficially" in order for you to "specifically" get a clue as to whom I'm "specifically" referring to or are you that "specifically" dense ...er..."specifically"? |

I have yet to have a problem with anything that Cowboy posts. And yeah, in a way, he is right. You have to CHOOSE to come to God, for him to be with you, so unless you CHOOSE to come to God, chances are you probably wont hear him. God isnt pushy like that, but there are some Christians that are, and they make it bad for the rest of us (meaning no one specifically) who, "live and let live", and believe that you are entitled to believe or not believe whatever you like. Its free will, and God supports that 100%. so wouldn't this mean that you haven't chose to come to God yet ... |

No, it would mean that YOUR CHANCES of hearing him would be BETTER if you choose to come to God. Let me also explain, that I dont need to see a vision, or hear a thunderous voice, to think that God speaks to me. Actions speak louder than words. Ill give you a funny example. Before I believed in God, I was a cheerleader for Satan and didnt even know it. People would talk about God to me, and I would grab an ashtray and say, "Ok fine, if theres a God, MOVE THAT!". Yeah, like God (the creater of all) is gonna humble himself to do magic tricks, for a non-believer who is clowning him. Yeahhhh, that will happen.......NOT! Then when it didnt move, I would say, "Look, there is no God", hahahahaha. Now, God moves the ashtray just about everyday in my life. He shows me hes there, with blessings, and miracles, that happen in my life, like defying death, and lots of other things that you would explain away with it being another of the MANY "coincidences" ive had in my life, since coming to God. Its all good! there is no need to get into a debate about God, you made claims that you had proof that God exist beyond faith and beyond a book .... surviving car accidents or medical procedures is not proof...because if that was so, then what about those that don't survive... generally during one's lifetime sh_t happens....to believe that a God "specifically" chose you for that sh_t to happen to...falls into the realm of paranoia ......things that goes bump in the night |

Personally, I would much rather believe in God than the mumbo-jumbo the universe just conveniently happened. if it's impossible to believe that something just conveniently happened ...then why wouldn't that same impossibility apply to God I wrote I'd rather believe in God if I'm going to believe in improbabilities. After all, the big bang theory tells the same story of creation but without God. How did the writers of the Bible know this? So through reference like that I believe God does exist. I mean, I surely hope so. |
