I choose to put my faith in having been created by our God. It is your choice to put your faith in what you will.

and there you have it....I asked you for proof beyond faith that God exist beyond a book ...which mean you have none

in the end you always trip yourself up

I do have proof. You do not see the proof I present as evidence God exists.

I've asked you for proof beyond faith....try playing attention

So would you please, try to keep these threads on topic instead of ALWAYS turning it into the existence or none-existence of God.

the thread is about proof that a God exist.....again try playing attention as to what is going on

You want proof that God exists behind the bible?

I'll give you proof!

Ive never talked about some this, on here, but perhaps this is the time....

When I was 2 years old, I had a severe asthma attack, and flat lined, and came back. That would be only the first time, I flat lined.

When I was in my 20's, I was rear ended, sitting at a red light, by of all things, a preachers wife. They estimate the driver was doing between 40 and 50 mph. I was driving a Baja Volkswagon, with no back bumper, which was illegal, and I found out why.

I was partially ejected from the car, and cut out with the "Jaws of Life". I AGAIN flat lined, this time, just barely shy of suffering severe brain damage. I was in a coma for a month, and when I awoke, my legs were completely numb. I was told, I had an injury to the spine,(paraplegia)and would most likely never walk again.

The woman who hit me prayed by my bedside everyday, and I refused to believe that I wouldnt walk again. A year later, I felt tingling and long story short, regained use of my legs.

Both times I flat lined, I recall a feeling of leaving my body, and being weightless, in a place that had no measure of time. I saw brightness, but above all, I felt completely at rest, happy, and comfortable. HAPPY, being the key word here.

I was a drug user for MANY years, and quit cold turkey, and amazingly, I was spared the horrors of what smoking meth can do to you..especially physically.

Then 6 months after getting clean, I was I was re-baptized.

Shorty there after I was diagnosed with Stage 3(out of 4) HER2 (a VERY aggressive, and fast moving)cancer. I was given a 40%, AT BEST, chance of living. The cancer had spread through my lymph nodes. Again I refused to believe I would die, and I prayed ALOT! Long story short, again, I have 4 years cancer free. And didnt even suffer lympthomia, although it was in my lympthotic system, so I DEFINITELY should of suffered that!

I prayed again....to quit smoking cigarettes, and again quit, cold turkey, with NO withdrawal symptoms.

My mother was given 6 months to live. She had Ovarian Cancer, and it was in stage 4 when it was found. She was advised to "get her affairs in order", and that she had a year, at best, to live. She for no medical reason, went completely into remission, and lived to be 92, with not a sign of cancer in her body. She died of a heart attack, due to "Parkinsons Disease".

This is only a 1/4 of the testimony that I have, and this is actually the MOST believable of it all.

I HAVE SEEN MIRACLES, IN MY, AND MANY OTHER LIVES, that NO ONE (especially all of the doctors) can explain.

Now im sure, that you will explain it all away, as a mere coincidence, that God, and prayer, was involved in every situation...over, and over, and over, and over, again. I dont happen to believe in that many coincidences, where God was involved. Not to mention, all of the other things I havent even told you about, where again, prayer was involoved, and I, and others, beat UNBEATABLE odds.

Also, since my relationship with God has strengthened, I have finally found something ive NEVER had. Happiness. I now, look forward, to EVERY one more second I have in my life, and appreciate all the beauty it has to offer. Ive never been this happy...EVER!

I have no desire to debate about God with you. There are enough "Holy Wars", going on already,

but I did want to add my 2 cents worth, to, in IMO answer your question.

God bless you.

I agree there may or may not be God.

Personally, I would much rather believe in God than the mumbo-jumbo the universe just conveniently happened.

whether one believes in God or not,.. eventually they will get sick ....inevitably they will die

can there be any doubt that there are both believers and non-believers that have also went thought the same or similar trials and tribulations as you have stated in your testimony

unless you are willing to add to your testimony that God himself told you that you are still alive only due to his intervention, then to make claims that your set of circumstances are miracles beyond what others have been though is not proof that God exist beyond the bible..it's Hubris

if it's impossible to believe that something just conveniently happened ...then why wouldn't that same impossibility apply to God

We all don't listen, to some degree. Some listen more then others. And I didn't specifically state Luv2roknroll at all, only you have now. I have no said I'm greater then anyone else, nor do I listen more, nor did I state anything of such. Only you Funches, have stated as such about other people.

Nobody can say to another "God is real" Because there is no defining proof. There is no definite answer that one can point to that says without any shadow of a doubt that there is a God. That's where the faith comes in.

God is a faith God. God wants people to have faith in him and what he does. If you don't have faith in God your prayers will not be answered (At least most of the time) And you will get less from God.

God wants us to BELIEVE he's there. BY FAITH. The bible tells us to "Walk by faith not by sight" Hence nobody will ever prove there's a God.

Same goes for evolution. Evolution is a belief. Some would call it a modern religion. Don't confuse evolution with science. I can use science every day and I do. I use it to talk on the phone, cook my food, and to get to work every day (My car). That's science.

Evolution attempts to explain the origin of everything. By saying the universe created itself from nothing and everything just sort of happened by chance from there. Again this takes faith to believe since nobody was there to see first hand.

Evolution requires faith. As does the belief in God.

Exactly, very good way of putting it. Science is only seen as "fact" because people accept it as such. Because regardless if the scientists have done experiments to find the results they did, it is taken on faith by you that what they say is true.

And science may not be able to "prove" there is a God, but it is also unable to prove there is not a God.

Funches,
How so? I was responding to her words, not specifically to her. If i was responding specifically to her, it would have been said as this message is said, with her name prior to the statement. Last responce on this, as it is highly not related to the topic and is not even religion affiliated.
