Some Mingle2 participants are upset as the result of a very unfortunate matter. So, in response to that issue, I want to discuss a related issue.

How is anyone to know that you really are who you say you are?

Although this question is one that women may ask men, I think that it applies to everyone.

* * * * * * *

Since I'm the one asking the question, I'll be the first to answer it.

On several occasions, I have stated that my life is literally an open book. No, you can't purchase that book at Barnes & Noble or download it onto a Kindle (at least not yet), but you can learn all about the way that I am in my human guise.

In order to be as transparent as possible, I placed in my Mingle2 profile the URL to an online book of mine, which begins with a story about the death of my wife. The book contains a "Bio" section which identifies the church that I belong to and gives a hyperlink to the church's website. I am accountable to the elders of my church, and they can confront me if I engage in harmful behavior. Anyone here who has a concern about me can contact those elders. If needed, I will give people the e-mail addresses of women who have direct contact with me. If you want to, then you could also look at my Facebook page. Just ask me for its URL.

Anyway, I don't want anyone to have doubts about the "Human" me. That version of me doesn't have a police record, by the way. As for the "Melmacian" me, all of his Melmacian records were destroyed when planet Melmac was destroyed. Since arriving on planet Earth, he has been a perfect angel.

I claim to be an a$$hole, which most people believe to be untrue...

Until I do or say something that makes them realize I really am but it's not personal.

What you see is what you get. However, I do not strive to please everyone else around me.. as long as I am happy with me..all is well.

I think who we are is clear in our posts, however we choose to describe ourself.

Its harder to fake for an extended time, in writing, what ones character is.

It isn't necessarily clear in posts, as some people do act differently here than they would in person.

I think thats more a product of people being complex than not being who they appear to be.

Since I am in business on the Internet being an artist and tarot card designer, I have quite a few websites and I sell my work on line. I am who I say I am.

Artist, designer, conspiracy theory fan, single, tarot card reader, 63 years old. (Make that 63 years young!)

That's me.flowerforyou

How many years did that Kieth dude get away with it????

I am and always have been willing2.

Willing2 try most anything at least once.

Quite a few men wish that was my real profile picture. I get IM attempts from them. Those men don't read. If they did, they'd know I wuz a dude.laugh

As far as my real location, I am too controversial in my political posts to give too much personal info. Lots of stupid acting people who would want to blame me and many like me for their failures in life.

I've used the name Tessa/Tracy Richards/Richardson for personal (not legal) reasons. My actual name is Teresa Lynn Richmond 45 years old DOB 2-15-67 born & raised in WV Served 3 months in the pen for B&E while on drugs. Then did 2 years probation. Went to a local drug rehab & got my act together for awhile. I fell off the wagon & tend to get drunk every now & then. But, no longer do drugs. Don't worry about my name being displayed. I travel with my BF (work) all over & no one could find me if they tried. I never stay in one town long enough for a pervert to find me. So, there you have it! lol

I dont think Keith 'got away' with hiding his character, although he may have been deceptive in what his job was or what he looked like etc,,,

I believe the character (values, attitude, demeanor) he presented all those years was a part of who he is,

but is it really even necessary people share that kind of intimate and personal and possibly embarassing detail about their lives with other people talking over a computer screen? I dont think anyone should feel obligated to do so...

just my opinion

He sure managed to keep the predatory animal part a secret for many years.

If you wish to defend the animal, it's your religion. I don't play that.

May he burn in hell.

PS.
I hope, wise thinking prosecutors make sure that any proceeds from book sales go to his victims and families.

No you should not feel obligated to put out your personal information to the entire world. That is not really a good idea anyway. You should just be true to yourself, but that does not mean putting out all your personal information. You are just not obligated or required to do that.
