Never been called special but I have been called unique and an enigma. Was never quite sure if it was a compliment or an insult. lol, when I Was younger, we were raised not to insult people so 'special' was a less insulting way to point out that someone was not too bright or savvy, or whatever,,, I had a cousin who kept me in stitches telling other kids they were 'special',,,,especially when they would assume it was a statement intended to compliment and they would say 'thanx'....lol |
