So what do you think should he turn in all funds he won??

No. Why? Well we were stuuuupid enough to believe him when he said he was not doping, yet we let him continue to compete, over and over and over. I am so ready to just let it go. Ignore the man.

Absolutely....And I think it sucks how he turned on Frankie Andreu...Armstrong should at least feel obligated to help clean up sports...Doping takes every bit of competitiveness out of any sport....It's like spitting in the face of those who don't dope....

Exactly Will, it's the only way he has left to redeem himself, repair some of the personal disgrace by doing something positive for sports...Don't know if you saw any of Matt Lower's (  personally can't stand Mattie ) interview with Pete Rose, but Pete basically said the same thing...Rose is a pretty cool guy IMO... Armstrong's interview with Oprah airs tonight at 9 P (8 our time), going to be interesting to see what kind of attitude Armstrong takes....

What funds? I wonder if the drugs he took had anything to do with his cancer? Had that conversation with my mom last night...I would vote yes Alle..Can't filter too much of any chemical through your body organs w/o paying a price.....

The cancer was before his races, I thought.
From what I've read about his interview last night, he is nowhere near ready to actually come down off his high horse. He says the words but doesn't act like he means them. |

So what do you think should he turn in all funds he won?? Yes, even though it is sad about his illness, he should not have continued in Sports and winning awards while on Drugs. |

he should first resign from the charity he started and then just go away. the simple fact here is that he obtained both his fame and fortune (said to top 100 million) by being a liar and cheat! to me, this makes him a fraud, nothing more.
he cannot go back now and “help” clean up a sport that he himself tainted, though acting hypocritical is certainly a part of his make-up, to do such a thing now would be just another way to cash in on something he never deserved in the first place. you see, he can’t preach about fairness in sport, or character, working hard to obtain a goal, integrity, sportsmanship or any of the like, because he knows nothing about any of these virtues. |

By helping to clean up sports I mean he should give details, all of them, to anti-doping officials...Details that will help clean up not only cycling but all sports...Details like who supplied the drugs, which officials were involved, who ran the doping programs, how they ran them and, very importantly, who looked the other way....I imagine some of these people are still actively involved the fraudulent practice of doping for the win....Armstrong's confession should only be the start of his obligations to the sport and to the public.... |

He definitely owes the money (plus court costs) he won in lawsuits against the teammates who had charged him with cheating.
I do think it's inherently wrong that he's getting so much publicity. I'm sick of seeing his face on the tube...it's not right, but that's journalism! |

Agree!!...Sick to death of him and his beady eyes!...Shame on you Oprah for capitalizing on his deception, how much did you pay him for the interview?...If he writes a book, the proceeds should go to every "clean" rider he bilked; they are the ones who paid the price for his fraud... I hope they sue him!!!
