Topic: When Winter Storms Attack

How have the winter storms altered your plans over the last week? My ski trip was called on account of....snow? My winter vacation has transformed into an overly clean home, over prepping for my return to work, reading random books and spending an obscene amount of time Mingling here. No offense, but I’d rather be skiing. You?

Hummm no winter storms here.... the wind has picked up and it is a little chilly for Texas.....But other then that we don't have much of a winter.. Once in a while we have a few good winters with some snow....no no plans getting changed around here due to the weather~~~~

me got snowed in, woke up to snow over me front door and couldn't get out, a severe 75 mile a hr.wind blew snow covering me front door...my screen opens outward and there is no way to open the door....so me will be like u stuck mingling here for a few days and then me will call someone to come over and dig me out!...made smores in the fireplace today...Got to find a mate so next year me wont care how long me is snowed in!...lol...lol...lol

The weather did nothing to hinder my attempt to try and take over the world! Still trying to pull it off...

we are supposed to get snow mixed with rain over the next few days starting tomorrow. it's probably the fringes of the great plains storm. but fortunately we are far enough east miss the worst of it

We got 3 inches of snow Friday, no hinderance there! Today nice Sunny 48. "Business" as Usual.

We usually don’t get more than a few inches over the whole winter season, but we had 11 inches with the last storm and are bracing for 10-15 inches tonight. I want to get out of this house! I would not make a good shut in.

A GF of mine had a boyfriend who was fondly referred to as the Yeti. If there was ever a human that resembled pictures of what a Yeti supposedly looked like....that guy was it. He grunted when he spoke, which oddly enough i understood, but nobody else could. So if you do come across one...i'll be happy to translate ;-) Back on topic...i'll take a raincheck on that winterstorm...tis nearing the end of summer this side of the hemi.

The winter storm hasn’t come down here although we did get a light dusting of snow that lasted for half a day.

No winter storms here either but we have had lots of them in the last few months and it's never altered any of my plans as I am used to driving in Blizzard conditions.
