Why not? For a first time meet; it's an open space, there's a lot of people around, it's usually easy to find and has ample parking, it's out of the weather, it's cheap, you can walk around or sit someplace and people watch.

Just meeting at a mall, sounds like something Teenagers would do. Not a real date for me anyway. I go our with Mature men who know where to take a lady.bigsmile

Miniature golf?

That can be a fun date!

I think so too. You couldn't drag me to a mall........smokin

I don't think age should matter here. Its good for a first date unless your saying you should be taken out for dinner? But why start to give some your best when they don't deserve it yet.no one person should be doing all the work when there is a possibility for a new relationship

I'm not a fan of the mall. There are many other places that fit the above description. The last thing I want to do on a date is watch people shop at a mall.

Perhaps it's because I live in a place where there are many better options than the mall. I'd much rather walk around downtown and people watch, grab a drink at a local bar and listen to music, or check out a locally owned coffee shop and chat. All are cheap options.

I live in an area where there are SO MANY other things to do aside from going to a mall. It wouldn't be my first choice. Here, mostly teenagers hang out at the mall.

Whats wrong with the mall? Im trying to meet the person, not the place..I just wanna be in your presence, i could care less where we meet, as long as im with u..Its a date, not a romantic getaway

there's a place in Galveston called the Strand, an out-door mall type place with bars and other more family type places too... it's great for a first date, and right on the beach too..

That sounds different than your typical shopping mall, which is what I meant.

right. we have some malls here that are actually constructed to be like little outdoor villages with boutiques, designer shopes and outdoor cafes etc....it can be a good time :)

true. I hadn't thought of that. from a security perspective it is not a bad suggestion

This site needs an option to delete a posts/replies because my mouse double clicks on me and I have seen other people who accidentally posted two replies in a row too.
