I'm more interested in knowing where you've gotten your information? Surely you haven't dated every woman in the world, so how do you know what all women want? I'm sure some women want what you've described, but not all. Personally I want a guy who has a dick but doesn't act like one.

Have a look at most of the women on this site. They all hate players and want what I described earlier. They are all really happy and love going out meeting new people.

What do women want? I would start with some guy actually reading my profile and seeing if they are what I say I want there?

I am not immune to just chatting with a follow Mingle'er in forums but come on if you are almost the age of my grandkids why would I want to entertain you ? Why would I want to travel clear around the world when my match list has several thousand locally? Get a grip people.

I've never gotten into the sex toy craze, if I have a guy, I'm fine, if I don't, I do without. And I'm always living around dreadfully distasteful people, so I've learned to adapt....

I've read a few chapters of 50 Shades of Gray and wasn't impressed (I'd rather read a good horror story) so if a guy of mine wanted to read that drivel, I'd be disappointed...

With all of that said, I can't speak for every woman, obviously, but I do know they don't all want the same thing, just like all men don't want the same thing.

I assume when they say they're "happy with their lives," they're content with what they have, but they would like to be in a relationship with someone, to extend that happiness and include someone else in it. I don't think being in a relationship should be the main goal in one's life. I think everyone should have interests, and friends, if they're in a position to have them. I'm more afraid of the desperate types, over the content ones. The ones who say they want someone to "complete them" and "be their world" and "their everything" and sit around crying and being bitter because they're alone and others are not. I don't want to be anyone's world or anyone's everything, sounds scary and it's too much pressure....

I think many women would like a guy who was a combination of what men think we want- a decent person, not a jerk, can talk about most things without coming off as an *******, a know-it-all, or an idiot, is considerate when necessary, ie. if he says he's going to call, he calls, and if he can't, he gives a timely, believable excuse, not a clingy person, but not aloof to the point where you know he doesn't give a damn if he never sees or talks to you again, someone who looks nice, takes care of himself, wants the same things out of life that you do, is honest, trustworthy, patient when necessary, basically that.

I don't think it's much to ask for, but it sure as heck is hard to find....
