I know I don't have to do this or shouldn't have to anyway, but I wanted to take a minute to remind my fellow male members to beware of scammers.I was texting with a seriously younger woman from this site.I thought it was strange that she had any intrest, but whatever! It only took her 3 days or so to ask for money!Unless You're George Clooney,She's not after your mind,it's your wallet!

If it's a beautiful thirty year old woman hitting on a sixty year old
guy, telling him he's the love of her life, it's highly probable that she's going to eventually ask for a small contribution - if only to help her dear father get that badly needed new tractor for the farm.

Same thing happened to me with a man -and I use this term loosely. He was 34 and said that he was an NCO for the US Army.

Why do they do this?

I had messages from a couple of much younger women tonight. They were in Scotland. Genuine ones do talk to older guys. They can be more relaxed about it than the older women.

You do get them though. All of the scam mail that I get comes from other countries. I just had one that had an American profile asking me for money in a first message. For me they're easy to spot. It makes little difference to me if they're scamming or not because they're too far away for dating. There are fake profiles on here that are pretending to be local people but I never really have any bother from them and I can tell that I'm talking to a real Scottish girl from the conversation. The country is too small for anyone to pull a travel scam on you or anything like that. "Ooh, I'm stuck in Glasgow. Please send me some money so that I can get out of this shithole".
