The only thing meaningful in life is love, so the meaning of life is love.

The only thing meaningful in life is love, so the meaning of life is love.

Love of what?
Some love shoes, others love gadgets; some love attention, others love their own feelings; some love the size, others love the tightness; some love the looks, others love the benefits; everyone loves money and no one loves to lose.

So many subjects, objects and ways to love.

life is all about observation, analysis, calculations, hypothesis, counter hypothesis, re analysis, modifications, tying up the loose ends, final hypothesis, and then application of the hypotheses. all of which happens within mili seconds in our cerebral cortex

Arguably the main reason animals don't build rocket ships is the lack of an opposing thumb and not necessarily any innate lack of intelligence. The detailed working of human and animal brains is still largely a mystery. In all likelihood humans born in the wild without the benefit of adult teaching would revert to a feral existence with no discernible speech.

Actually, the answers are simple enough if one is not cognitively impaired.
Simply watch some of my video books, quite short, on the Internet Archive or on YouTube.

Yeah, but what's the actual question? :)

What do you mean when you mean meaning?

We aren't the only species with self awareness, but we do seem to be the only one that seems to question our existence, the why's and wherefores.

Love can be a meaning if you want it to be.

Procreation can be a meaning if you want it to be (and in many cultures, that is the "accepted" meaning of life).

Achieving nothingness can be a meaning also (ask a Buddhist)

Or, killing as many people as you can in the most gruesome fashion possible could be a meaning also (ask most serial killers).

My take is anything that justifies your existence for yet another day, and facing the inescapable death without going into a panic. Sounds a bit cynical, but if you look at it in a cold objective way it's really what it boils down to.

Im a Christian and believe the answers to life are within the bible ...

We are meant to live forever , eternity .

We have been given 70 years to work life out and find GOD ...

Procreation. Its the only thing that drives us as a race.
everything does it.

Except rocks....

And homosexuals.

But everything else on the planet is driven by it.
I'm blooming fantastic at it.

I take that back, I don't know what the meaning of life is. I thought the question was what should be our purpose.

This is kind of question like the, 'Why am I, me?' question.

Here's a great little cartoon to watch...

Go to, National Film Board of Canada.

Type in, 'John Weldon's - 'To Be'

You may think it's a cheesy low-budget film, but it actually is a huge exercise in examining One's own self. shocked
