all i really talked to where scammers lol but have met some really great people on this sight a few scammers as well but they are every where : ( best wishes on your hunt |

Yeah, so I basically stopped looking and waiting. Best to enjoy life, go out, have fun, do things you really like, whilst keeping an eye out
Most dating-sites sux as far as I'm concerned. All you can do is browse and chat one on one. To me chatting one on one is like being on the phone. Now I wouldn't randomly phone a stranger to talk to him, so why would I do the chatting? That's what I like about Mingle, the forums is more like going to a pub. You sort of get to know what someone's like and then you can start a conversation with someone, or not. Really don't understand why there aren't more dating-sites with (free) forums. In actual fact thinking of starting one myself. Lot of nice and interesting ppl here, but all on the other side of the big pond. Not impossible, my daughter found love that way. Anyway, go out, have fun, enjoy life, don't sit around waiting! |

I've met some scammers too on this site. One of them asked me if I make much money and when I was about to send my reply to him, I found out that his account was deactivated.
The latest guy I met on this same site turned out to be scammer too. He courted me for a month and was in a hurry to make me commit to him as his sweetheart. He pretended that he was self-employed as a service contract bidder. I found out that he is a scammer when he started asking me for money to help him pay for the goods that he purchased in Turkey. He said that he called his bank in the US to do everything to enable him to withdraw from the ATM in Turkey but his bank in the US did not allow him. What a con artist I met on this site. I told him that I don't make much money and suggested him to call his bank in the US again. He had his account on this site deactivated after sending me his first message to reply to him through his hotmail account. |

Forums are useless for meeting local people you can actually date. Mingle isn't that great for there being many local people on here anyway and I've almost found that better than sites with new local people joining all the time and constantly going through profiles and messaging.
Saying that you wouldn't talk to a stranger on the phone is just negative and there are a lot of women on these sites like that that aren't really looking and just chat. There are some that do use it as a dating site though and I've met people and it's been alright. It can just be a bit slow sometimes with nothing much happening. If you get frustrated I think that it's best to just step away from it for a while and come back when you're feeling more positive. |

Yeah. I kind of gave up the whole entire dating scene when I broke up with my fiancee 4 years ago. Now I have decided to get back in the saddle and try try again.

but now i have stopped thinking about relationship and dating. its just that now i am enjoying talking to guys here and its nice and fun. good time pass.. nd scammers they r crazy .., i meet many and all dey ask about ur mail,, for personal messaging.. Dats a bull ****.. now anyone who asks about my mail,, i give them with a message attached to it.. don't ask for money,, earn it by hard work or by becoming a whore... ur wish?? U not getting any... hahhaaa.. any honest person would feel i am crazy.. Lolzz , |

Sometimes i feel jealous especially if i see couples who are the same age with me and they've been together for years ... Im always wondering how do they do that :p and i feel guilty for focusing more on working and not trying hard to meet someone.... But i figured hey im still young career should be my top priority :)

sometimes I think about it... not often ... but I don't believe I look as hard either to find the one... so I have to take some of that responsibility...

Maybe about twice,good while,and was only for like few mnts lol,one the reason,is cause I knew it kind of was by choice,a passed a good few,just cause I wasn't feel them 100%or really close and didn't want to short them or me,but I don't feel that way,I'm actually more cautious now,so am just taking my time more!!
