Topic: canadians cover up UFO crash? | |
---|---|
been reading about this far a couple of days now...
CBC News Thu, 19 Feb 2015 21:34 CET winnipeg disc-Facebook photo of alleged crashed disc in Lake Winnipeg. Social media reports of a possible UFO sighting last night near Jackhead, Man., are not true, says the Canadian Forces, which attributed the bright light people saw to an airplane from a training exercise. On Wednesday night, several people said on Twitter and Facebook that they saw a bright light in the sky, fuelling speculation that it may have been an unidentified flying object. The rumour became stronger when photos were posted of Canadian Forces vehicles in the area, with some people claiming the military was there to contain a UFO crash site. But it was not a UFO at all, says Lt.-Col. Paul Davies, commanding officer 38 Territorial Battalion Group, which is involved in an Arctic Response Company Group training exercise on Lake Winnipeg this week. manitoba military Images on Twitter of the unexpected military presence around Lake Winnipeg. "There's no aliens, just my friends in the air force who are out there helping us on this exercise," Davies told CBC News on Thursday. "I have the commander of that air force contingent sitting right beside me and, you know, he assures us that that was not a UFO, but that was him." About 150 military personnel are taking part in Exercise Arctic Bison 2015, which includes the 38 Canadian Brigade Group, the 2nd Battalion of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, the 4th Canadian Ranger Patrol Group, and 440 Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force. Comment: Here's the link to the Canadian Army's page on the exercise. Davies said soldiers are training to deal with a plane crash and provide ground search and rescue support in the Arctic. The bright light that people saw, he explained, came from an airplane that takes off very quickly. "From a distance it may have looked like it was going straight up in the air, but it wasn't," he said. "It was just us out there playing our games." The exercise wraps up on Sunday. Comment: The photo above was posted on "Brent Macheese's" Facebook page. Latest UFO Sightings is reporting that "taking pictures in the scene was strictly prohibited", with the army issuing threats: These witnesses apparently saw a round object being hauled across the lake and pulled out by snowmobiles and bombardier. Eight fishermen reported the incident, but Mancheese wonders why the authorities did not let the media know if it was a plane crash. At least one witness managed to get a photo of the craft. Unfortunately, that person has since been detained by the Canadian military. The military exercise was planned and publicized in advance, so it doesn't look like an after-the-fact "we had it planned all along, folks, seriously" operation. You can read a MUFON report of the 'light in the sky' here. links and vidoe here: http://www.sott.net/article/293038-UFO-crash-in-Manitoba-Canadian-military-says-its-just-an-exercise |

Well, if Canada has alien technology then we are going to see some vast improvements in curling, hockey and heating in the near future.

Hey, I recognize that thing...!
Now I know what happened to my Jacuzzi, it's stuck in 4feet of ice. |

What bugs me about the photo and the others I've seen on Google is that for a crash site, the snow around the edges is very neatly displaced. If it hit with any velocity, the displaced snow would be uneven, there would be pile ups and more of a random splatter pattern. If it hit ice, wouldn't there be shards and a fracture pattern from the impact? The scale looks fairly large, even accounting for distance form the guys in the foreground.
And, I have a problem with the shadows: particularly density, angle and falloff. |

It's Canada, they probably cleaned the place before they investigated, and then got a new layer of snow.

HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! (and I'm not laughing AT you.. I'm laughing WITH you)
I'm so glad that I live in Canada.. We have much less "sensationalism" reports up here... Try this LINK--> http://www.thestar.com/news/world/2015/02/24/odd-lights-in-sky-reported-from-arizona-to-canada.html Not what people saw at all.. It was closer to a comet streaking across the sky.. and is said to be: "....A NASA official told the Salt Lake Tribune the lights were a Chinese rocket booster that broke apart about 11 p.m. local time..." Whether that was what it was or not, you need to realize something, Moe..(and any other conspiracy theorists): - the stealth bomber, first given wide public knowledge in the 1990 Gulf War.., was first test flown in 1947... So think about what technology is not privy to the public.. and put this in perspective, considering the huge advance in technology Earth has had in the last 30 years.. - Yes.. I do believe in life on other planets.. (there are literally Billions of planets older than ours).. and it is very narrow minded and naive to think that we are the only life-forms.. - The species that do observe us ...don't interfere: mutilate cattle; abduct; steal resources; etc... 99% of the sightings are man-made technology from various countries.. (and I'm not going to expand or debate this.. take it or leave it,... I'm not into the regular "I'm right - You're wrong" scenarios in most internet forums.. and this is why you rarely see me post in here... Doesn't bother me one way or the other if you believe me, or not.. - If you believe in E.T.'s and their advanced state of technology, don't you think that they have many back-up plans to take care of their own..? Do you think there is anything here on earth (man-made and/or natural forces) that could affect their vehicles, when some of them travel light-years through much more severe scenarios..? EDIT: And that's not a LINK to the Armed forces page.. I have to give KUDOS to the photo-shop pic, though... Very well done.. |

Bwahahahahaha!! Looks like a wheel from a hotwheels car photoshopped into the snow... Sheesh.

I think that fuzzily-outlined striding guy in the foreground is Bigfoot. It looks exactly like the pictures you see of him.
Whatever that object is, it's not an interstellar craft. The thing in the middle of the object looks a lot like a massive turbine or air vent, and those aren't very useful in vacuum. |

Lake Winnipeg is an hour and half drive away from where I live, but I'm not going to go chip-out my Jacuzzi from 4 feet of solid ice.
The fool-thing must of blown into the Hope Creek then floated into the Red River then went into Lake Winnipeg. There's all kinds of crap drifting into Lake Winnipeg. Rest assured everybody, no U.F.O. looks so good after hitting solid ice! |

There's ice so thick this time of year, it'll be there till May! You can drive your 4 wheel drive truck right onto it, if you want. Heck, you could drive a Tank on that Ice! |
