I would choose money because if the financial stress is out of your life then you can focus on your personal life more.

True, makes me think of Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
If I wouldn't have my regular basic income, I would value money over love.

Kind of a weird question really, having to compare love with fear of shortage and/or greed (also a form of fear btw) ...

You could have all the tea in China and still be poor in your soul.

Which would make you happy as you like?

Can't buy me love, love
Can't buy me love

I'll buy you a diamond ring my friend
If it makes you feel all right
I'll get you anything my friend
If it makes you feel all right
'Cause I don't care too much for money
For money can't buy me love

I'll give you all I've got to give
If you say you love me too
I may not have a lot to give
But what I've got I'll give to you
I don't care too much for money
For money can't buy me love

Can't buy me love
Everybody tells me so
Can't buy me love
No no no, no

Say you don't need no diamond rings
And I'll be satisfied
Tell me that you want the kind of things
That money just can't buy
I don't care too much for money
Money can't buy me love

Can't buy me love
Everybody tells me so
Can't buy me love
No no no, no

Say you don't need no diamond rings
And I'll be satisfied
Tell me that you want the kind of things
That money just can't buy
I don't care too much for money
Money can't buy me love

Can't buy me love, love
Can't buy me love, oh

The thing about "love"especially now a days is,love is a ghost, some people say they seen it,felt it,was touched by it ECT,while some don't believe in it,never seen or felt it,while some swear it's real and some swear it doesn't,while there are things like ,love, character, morals ECT that money can't buy,we need both money and love, but it's obviously clear which is more important, while money can't buy love ECT,it dam sure as hell can't pay no bills or put food on the table which by the way is still BILLS,we need money to survive, people living without love as we speak, while some are dying from starvation and from other reasons where lack of money is the main issue!!!

Life depends on money, so money first. But there is no point to life without love, so love is also first.

Money is not everything but it is important for life. Money can bring happiness and misery, depends how much you care for it. I think the danger is becoming obsessed with MORE money. How much do you really need to live comfortably or even beyond comfortable?
You don't need to be rich to be happy.

that's true. I know a woman who hit it for a about 1.5 million. It got to the point that if anyone even mentioned it to her.. conversation over... she would just stop talking or leave... she did say it changed her life.. for the worse.. seems leaches come out of the woodwork.. starting with the family.. which overnight seems to double in size

There was a tv documentary here in the uk, how the lottery ruined people's lives. Couples who were happily married ended up getting divorced and they said they wish they had never won such a large amount of money.

If winning the lottery ruins a person's life because of the people around them, there is something wrong with the people first of all. They are not good friends or family anyway, but it's better to find out who cares about you through gaining money rather than through losing money and being left to fend for yourself!

You couldn't of said it any better, but my thing is,it's obviously clear that money is necessary for living, people right here,on mingle, right now, living without love, but you do have a great point though!

money is a tool necessary in society... but money is not the root of evil... as it can be used as a means to do good also....

it is the LOVE OF MONEY that can lead one to the road to perdition, not just money per se

Love or Money?
How about someone with the ability to make, lots of deposits into "The Love Bank"? Mostly, someone who I can have "FUN" being with;}

that marriage wasn't that stable to begin with, the money was the way out...

people can blame money, but in reality it was themselves...
