... my ex would take all day to do what I could do in two hours....

.... just now coming back from the car wash.... I pulled in to the bay the same time two women did.... I was finished before they were..lol..... just watching them was painful..lol....

.. sure I agree women can be more methodical..... but I think men
. roll up their sleeves and get the task done efficiently..

.. what' ya figure..... my cleaning brothers and sisters....lol

I hired a cleaning woman to do our housework, a couple of mornings per week, as my wife is watching my boy all day while I'm at work. I'd prefer to do the housework myself, but I have a business to run also!

Well, I am obsessive about cleaning my teeth. Most guys think it's ok to brush once a day, never floss. Bleah. Cleaning house too is important.

I think it depends on the person male or female. I like my house to be clean and I can be fussy but I also want my house to be a home and lived in Sometimes I don't have the time to vacuum everyday but it's not the end of the world. As long as beds are made, washing and dishes done, floors vacuumed and bathrooms cleaned.

I clean houses for a living because I enjoy cleaning and OCD about it. The houses I clean are all men's

While working with home bound elderly we had a set time to 'get in and out' so to breeze in and blow through their home and get as much things done in the shortest amount of time possible was always a necessary {expected} time crunch! And then we could just sit and spend chat/visiting time with those wonderful shut-in's!

But for the most part I'd say the women of my mothers era were the spot-less housekeepers then the gradual turn of the tide changed and you could certainly tell the military men from the non-military men that you took care of! Ole military men had time schedules and a place for everything a everything in it's place! My generation {circa the 50's} not so much; my brother was more of a perfectionist then I ever was about keeping house; his was spotless and mine...well --- I've got chickens/dogs kennels/outside yard work to tend to and I've yet to ever be attacked by a DUST BUNNY YET!

I'm a non clutter person. Too much clutter means you have to dust and clean the clutter. lol

I keep a neat house but I don't like to do the "deep cleaning". Like windows, ceilings etc. But my house is always clean.

I've had repairmen come to my house and after a couple times they will say I don't think I've ever seen a neater home. I do have my projects to do. But I can clean my house in less than an hour if needed. And yes, it's a small 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. So not a big deal really.

.. I guess I should have said ...who is more efficient at cleaning... I have noticed a lot of women tend to jump from task to task..... they don't really finish one task before moving on to the next one.... I am sure at the end of the day they get it all accomplished...
.. but to watch them is painful..lol
