If it's free it isn't always crappy. It just your opinion. You should not have to pay to contact a person. A lot of other sites are let downs.

I have received a lot of free stuff that is not rubbish. I ask myself do I need it and will I use it. |

Couple years ago I bought a natural citrine point from an American on Ebay (not a store) ...
When it arrived, there was a beautiful Lemurian pathworker crystal point in the box for me as well, with a note. The woman felt that that crystal belonged with me, so she had sent it to me as a gift ... a total surprise. Such crystals aren't cheap either. One of my forum members, young girl that I'd never even met, had bought a blue Andes opal, also not cheap. Felt it didn't belong with her, but with me. So she sent it to me :) Really sweet! 2 days ago I received a free espresso cup with 2 packets of coffee. Okay, not as good as a free crystal, but still, lol |

Last Christmas there was a link on another site to where you could sign up to send box cookies to an enlisted guy or gal over seas
My son helped make cookies with me and we sent them to a 24 Year old marine. I didn't think much about it but a month or so.later he sent me a tea set and.coasters and a little wooden carved elephant for my son. really beautiful sweet things I know he went into market where he was stationed and bought |

And thank you to you and your son!!!! When I was in Syria I got a "to any Marine" package. It was COMPLETELY free, and contained the art projects of an entire New York City second grade class. They were "just" construction paper cut-outs of mice with glued on yarn tales and a wide variety of decoration. There was a letter from the teacher. I wrote her back and, with her OK, I wrote back to each and every one of those kids by name (their names were on the backs of all the mice). It took a while, and many of them had progressed in grade while I was writing but, as far as I know, they all got my "thank you" note. You're good people, and I'm glad the young Marine showed appreciation. |

I think you get back what you put out in the world. If you think kindness, generosity, respectability, responsibility, and caring are for suckers then yea that is exactly the kind of people you draw into your world.
However good people and businesses often give out free stuff because it pays it forward for the opportunities they have already had. It gets and interest in whatever they are selling and motivates people to consider them for other purchases. Are all the things of great value to everyone. No but to many it is a chance to have something small in their life that comes without hardship. I know some of the seniors where I live are very grateful for the little samples they are sent. Or the free food that is donated. Often it is the only break they get from bills and death notices. |

This is totally wrong. You wouldn't believe what some people toss. One day I nabbed $270 of stuff out of the free box. Just yesterday I got a tent listed it sold it. That was just $35 but it was free.
