I don't read very often...but when I do, it's always stuff about UFO's, Aliens, and the Hidden Hand.

Astronomy, Cosmology, and philosophy. Time travel, the "5th and 6th" dimension, advanced physics, quantum physics.

Books about the relationship of time and space, and how to allegedly, bend it. Black holes.

And, US, Japanese, and World History. Plus military history.

Plus, the Bible

I read about 8 books a week, going in every 2 weeks
to the library and taking 16-25 at a time.

I read everything I can get my hands on.
Love autobiographies, mainly because, at the end of
them, you are very glad you are NOT them.
Lessons there :-)

I love historical novels, fiction and non-fiction.
More lessons there.

My favorites are the spy novels, I am getting to
know all their tricks so if anyone needs advice for
a spy caper, please advise :-)

I'm always reading, when I finish one book I pick up another. Mostly fiction- scifi, fantasy, horror. With my Kindle Fire I've been able to find books that have been long out of print, and can't be found anywhere, or are way too expensive.
I also like biographies, but mainly connected to movies.

My favorite subjects are cosmology and astrology, anthropology, metaphysics and religion. I won't think twice if ever I find a new book in the stands on any of the above subjects.

Metaphysics was the one I left out. I also study books on the Universal Law of Attraction as well anything else relative to our created, feeling universe and the fact that we're all created by energy as is the universe, etc. and the power of thought.

When I was in high school it was Nancy Drew - any murder mystery type books but they were few and far between back then!

Later it became the history of America and all of our wars!
That took several years - then I gradually became addicted to biographies and especially those of our elected people; WOW those tell all books were eye openers to be sure! surprised

Now I'll read about anything and everything that has to do with social issues and what other nations are doing about their problems!

But I've loaded many a:
Dean Koontz
J. Patterson
S. King
Sue Grafton
Mary Higgins Clark
T. Capote
J. Grisham
G. Greene
T. Hillerman
Frederick Forsyth
**************************

Do any of you have to copy their published works and highlight what you've read in order to keep track; I'm finding that I've often picked up a book or loaded one and got the way into it and stop to think - 'gee this sounds very familiar' and yes, I've read it already! slaphead

My go-to is Stephen King. I read IT first, and was absolutely blown away by the fact that Mr King truly knows how to describe what is already in my thoughts. surprised shocked
I read his books because they are GOOD and they take me away from everyday life. His stories encompass everyday life, but with supernatural or creepy twists.
I have read many other types of books as well, but no other genre is a fav for me like King is.
