3rd “Alternative” Prominent Doctor From Florida Found Dead in 2 weeks. Authorities say MD was murdered.

Estero doctor identified as homicide victim02:11

NBC-2.com WBBH News for Fort Myers, Cape Coral
First and foremost I’d like to say my heart goes out to the friends, families and patients of all three doctors. It brings me no joy to report this tragic news, but I feel people need to know.

Less than 2 weeks ago the first doctor, a controversial Autism researcher loved by his patients, Dr. Jeff Bradstreet MD, was found in a river with a gunshot wound to his chest. He leaves behind a beautiful wife and children. His friends and family started a memorial page on June 20th in his honor on Facebook. I waited 3 days after that to report the story out of respect. A few still write that I shouldn’t cover these stories, but I am a journalist, and now that 3 doctors have died so quickly from my state (at least one murdered) I feel I need to write about it. I waited until all were covered by mainstream news and or funeral sites. Dr. Bradstreet had lived just 45 minutes from us here in Florida before moving to the neighboring state of Georgia. I also have been with a prominent well known doctor for the last 6 years so this concerns me. Several high profile MD’s have contacted me these last 2 weeks who are also concerned and mourn the loss of their colleagues.

The second doctor is Dr. Bruce Hedendal DC PhD of Boca Roton area (E Coast, North of Miami) who died suddenly on Father’s day. Sources tell me that he was found in his car, but there was no car accident and it wasn’t running. He was just in his car. Deceased. He had exercised earlier at an event, but we don’t want to speculate. He also leaves behind a beautiful family. As of yet I do not know if it was natural causes or not that took his life. In addition to being a DC, he held a PhD in nutrition from Harvard. A friend who worked with him said he was in great shape and described him as “very healthy”. They too didn’t know the cause of death and were still in shock. Not sure if anyone knows at this point.

Both Dr Hedendal and Dr. Bradstreet had dealt with run ins with the feds in the past. In fact, Dr. Bradstreet’s office was just raided by the FDA days before he died. We know they will both be missed by countless patients, family and friends.

Now we have the inspiring intelligent Teresa Ann Sievers MD, also here in Florida. She was in the Naples area in the South West coast of the sunshine state in Bonita Springs. Her bio on her website describes her many accomplishments and degrees as a medical doctor who believed in a holistic alternative approach. She lived in a safe area where neighbors said they rarely, if ever, had problems. I had actually had just been in that neighborhood last month for a health event and it’s beautiful and serene. UPDATE: This new video about Dr. Siever’s death on CBS News talks about a donation site set up through CBS’s official website for those who wish to do so.

From the breaking news article about Dr Siever’s death:

The killing of a popular Estero doctor has left family and friends puzzled and saddened.

The body of Dr. Teresa Ann Sievers, 46, was found Monday morning at her Jarvis Road home after she didn’t arrive at work.

“We don’t know anything but that she was murdered,” said Sievers’ sister, Annie Lisa, 52. She said Sievers, her husband and children had come to Connecticut for a gathering and her sister flew home alone Sunday.

We cannot imagine what the family is going through at this time. The article goes on to say.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office declined to discuss the case, saying it was an ongoing homicide investigation, but assured neighbors that there was no threat in the area, but they reminded residents to lock their doors.

Sadly Dr. Sievers leaves behind a husband Mark, and their two daughters who are 8 and 10. We will update the article as we know more here in Florida.

Another article talks of a reward at the bottom of the piece. It provides a phone number where you can call in anonymous tips as well. If you know information pertaining to the death of Dr. Sievers MD or any information or tips, please call.

Again we’ll report as more info becomes available and ask that everyone stay safe and alert. We send oir condolences and thoughts to all family friends and patients of all three wonderful doctors.

He was probably giving other conventional doctors a run for their money...I can understand this because I practice holistic treatment methods for mental illnesses.

Homeopathy and Naturopathy is quite effective in treating autism and schizophrenia if the treatment is started at the initial stages. On the other hand, consultation fee of psychotherapists are generally high and beyond the reach of most. Also, such mental illnesses can only be palliated by anti-psychotic medicines.

If an alternative treatment physician was really doing well and was loved by his patients...we know who were getting hurt.

Homeopathy ... is quite effective in treating autism and schizophrenia

False. Homeopathy is useless as a field of study, and its treatments have been shown again and again to be no more effective than placebo.

Of course, the homeopathy con is also big business! And any time something is big business, there are people invested in lying to themselves and to other people.

There is so much BS 'evidence' out there that homeopathy is supposedly effective. Dig deeper and you find paid-off researchers, bad statistical analysis, and extreme cherry picking.

There must be around hundreds of homeopathic colleges and thousands of practitioners in India Europe and Australia practicing for several years. Its concepts were given to the world by Dr. Hahnemann who was, back then, a conventional doctor practicing English medical science.

I think lucky are those people who have understood the power of homeopathy and are getting its benefits.

Dr. Hahnemann was a doctor of sorts, but he was wrong. Doctors can be wrong.

"English medical science" was a joke in his day, and he was a critic. He was right to criticize some of the superstitious practices of his day, but he was wrong in his theories about the causes and cures of diseases.

Popular snake oil is still snake oil.

Homeopathy has no power. Truly Homeopathic remedies are no better than placebo.

I qualify that with truly homeopathic remedies because some homeopathic practitioners, when they find that their remedies are not achieving long term cures, will tell their patients "In order to get the best results, you need to make the following lifestyle changes...". Some lifestyle changes will help the body cure itself of disease - but that is not homeopathy.

People who think they are benefiting from homeopathy are actually benefiting from their own body's intrinsic healing power.

Why should we waste our money or our time on snake oil? We should learn how to actually help the body heal itself, or get advice from those who do.

Edit: Also, there are herbal remedies out there which are actually effective, and which contain a useful dose of herbs, but which will market themselves as 'homeopathic' when they are not homeopathic. That's another reason to clarify that truly homeopathic remedies are useless.

The money grubbing marketers behind the homeopathy movement have people so confused and misled, that true herbal remedies actually sell better when they have the label 'homeopathy' on them.

I wager that 2-3 of them were involved in some very shady business, and this is the result of that business. Most areas of 'alternative medicine' involve some slightly shady business anyway.

For the rest of them, I'd wager the events are unrelated. But it would be much more interesting if I'm wrong about that!

Yes...
Lucky, are the terminal cancer patients, who were 'prescribed' pulverized oyster shells, as a "cure".
Of course, they're dead now, thanks to such quackery.

I thought it was just shady business at first. But all are MD' s & PHd's in the same area.
So either it is money or a separate crime that connects them or it is a vendetta.

Or other doctors, labs or pharmacicals corporates.. wacking them. spock

It is you who is to dig deeper to understand the principles of homeopathy. It works and has its own reasons to work. It has limitations like any other treatment mode. Also, due to ignorance and limited education, many homeopaths cannot do a good job.

Do you know water is capable to retain information in it even if the original substance is removed entirely from it? Please dig deeper into the basics of its science before refuting it outright. Keep your mind open to new information...this is how you can grow in life.

I used to be intensely interested in all forms of 'alternative medicine'; I've read a great deal about homeopathy and I've had many long conversations with homeopathy's Faithful, including of course 'certified homeopaths'.

Do you know water is capable to retain information in it even if the original substance is removed entirely from it?

5th holistic doctor (age 33) died in Florida making 5 dead and 5 more missing

July 14, 2015 by Erin Elizabeth

doctors-dead UPDATE:

TIMELINE OF ALL 10 deaths and disappearances at bottom which I highly recommend you read. Article also linked out 48 hours ago that states loved ones didn’t know of any health challenges that were life threatening.

I read about Dr. Baron Holt DC not long after he died less than a month ago near me here on the East Coast of Florida. Father’s day June 21st. Dr. Holt was coincidentally found the very same day that Dr. Bruce Hedendal (also a DC found here on the E Coast of Florida) was found slumped over in his car. Like Holt, Dr. Hedendal was also extremely fit. Dr Hedendal been doing an athletic event earlier in the day before he died. Dr. Baron Holt’s obituary says he had a 3 year old child. Again, both Fathers were found dead on Father’s day.

These two chiropractors who tragically died the same day in the same state, come 2 days after the death of Dr. Bradstreet MD who was found in a river in North Carolina with a gunshot wound to his chest. Previously Dr. Bradstreet had lived and practiced here on the East Coast of Florida as well. I hesitated covering Dr. Holt’s story as I had no information and didn’t feel comfortable as there were no recent articles I could reference.

Now there is.

From this glowing article just out a mere 48 hours ago which refers to Dr. Holt as the faithful healer:

His unexpected death last month while on a trip to Jacksonville, Fla. has been a blow to his family and the community he’d created through his work. Though he had been struggling with recent health issues, none were thought to be life threatening by loved ones. His family is awaiting the results from an autopsy report.

I had searched before for any information but saw no statement from the family. Now that I see this article states his family felt he had no health challenge that was life threatening and was a mere 33 years old.

The article goes on to say

Holt’s practice, Revolution Chiropractic, had just celebrated its fifth anniversary this year. Highly fit at 33, he was deeply connected to his Christian faith, and his career as a Triangle practitioner was booming.

Holt took a holistic approach to treatment; he and his staff taught classes on nutrition, exercise, even aromatherapy.

In 2012, he traveled to London to work with the U.S. Olympic team, and could count Ultimate Fighting Championship athletes among the 500 patients his practice saw each week, said Brigitte Spurgeon, friend and Revolution Chiropractic clinical director.

When I read that he was “highly fit” well accomplished, even traveling to London to work with the Olympic team and already emerging as a prominent natural chiropractor, I feel that it’s my duty to report on his sad untimely death whatever the cause.

Again, our hearts go out to his family, friends and loved ones and we hope they get to the bottom of this whatever the cause may be. Just to give you a timeline I’m going to write it out as follows:

#1
June 19th– Dr Bradstreet, formerly of Florida, now practicing in Georgia was found with a gunshot wound to his chest in a river. The small town locals ruled the death almost immediately as a suicide but many have their doubts. This same day in Mexico- June 19th (the only case outside the US) 3 doctors were traveling to the State Capital to deliver some papers (we don’t know what they contained) They were reported missing that day. Authorities said they found the bodies, but the family says those bodies look nothing like their family members. A sad but riveting article was written about those details here.

#2
June 21st– We have two chiropractors both in Florida, both on the East Coast both presumably healthy and both described as very fit both found dead. We still have no cause of death in the articles we can find on either one. A few people have contacted me about Dr. Hedendal, but admit that they were surprised by his death and still find it shocking he died. I’ve been given a few causes of death but am not certain and even the friends telling me weren’t confident this was the case. Interestingly Dr. Holt lived in North Carolina which is the state Dr. Bradstreet’s body (see #1 story above) was found 2 days prior. Though Dr. Bradstreet now lived in Georgia and before that neighboring state Florida.

#3
June 26th, Dr. Patrick Fitzpatrick MD goes missing. He was traveling from North Dakota to neighboring Montana (which he did often as his son lived in Montana) and his truck and trailer were found on the side of the road. Searches have expanded, but authorities say it’s like he vanished without a trace. He’s 6′ tall, described as Irish with a goatee and details can be found on the links.

#4
June 29th– The beloved holistic Theresa Sievers MD was found murdered in her home. Her co worker says she was known as the “Mother Teresa of South Florida. Her husband and children were in Connecticut at a family reunion. The authorities have been investigating for two weeks “around the clock” and now say that it was targeted, not random, not a home invasion ,and when the facts come out “books and movies will be written about it” it’s that huge of a story. On this very same day, June 29th, Jeffrey Whiteside MD a pulmonologist went missing , vanishing when he simply “walked away” . Dr Whiteside, known for his successful treatment of lung cancer, disappeared in Door County Wisconsin while vacationing with family. They say he was on foot and had no vehicle and numerous reports call it “mysterious” saying he too vanished without a trace. They’ve been searching now 2 weeks and even colleagues have joined in (along with many bloodhounds, drones search parties and helicopters) but not a shred of evidence in 2 weeks.

#5
July 1oth– Lisa Riley DO (Doctor of Osteopathic medicine) is found in her home with a gunshot wound to her head. Her husband called it in 911 and has a prior record, and actually was charged with attempted murder on his ex Ms. King, before charges were dropped. Evidence showed that there was gun residue was found on Ms. King’s hand and not Mr Riley’s and his story collaborated but hers allegedly didn’t and kept changing. At least that’s what evidence showed at the time. (click link in this paragraph for their story with details)

We hope all 5 missing doctors are found alive and well. Our hearts go out to the other 5 doctors who were found dead and we hope they get to the bottom of each one and find the killer or killers soon of those who were indeed murdered.

Sounds like a serial killer that really doesn't like that field of medicine for some reason.

I immediately think back on all the anti-abortion violence that occurred in the past. Seems very similar.
