I've never really had an interest in strip clubs...but i have had girls i've been involved with do strip teases for me & that was good enough

OP, as you've said and others have pointed out...it certainly IS "to each his own". I personally would not like for my Man to frequent those places. There IS a time for them and I don't feel they are bad or wrong.
My Hubby absolutely loved telling his friends/coworkers about how I invited Him to go with me to a bachelor party at a stripclub. He was soooooooooooo taken aback. LOL
My coworkers consisted of 6 women and one man. The man got engaged, and the ladies decided to invite our significant others and bride-to-be and give him a bachelor party.

I have no problem with guys, no matter the age, going to a strip club for a party/get together ONCE IN AWHILE, but certainly NOT on a regular basis.

Told my husband years back when we were first married..he was a grown azz man capable of deciding this himself..of course he can go to stripclub with his buddy..but don't come home again

That's not entirely true. It depends on your culture. From what I understand you have strip clubs on every street corner in the US, and it's normal and totally accepted that ppl go there, like you would go to a pub.

Over here it's not that way, even though we Dutchies are liberal when it comes to sex. Of course there are strip clubs, but I wouldn't know where to find even one. And certainly there will be strip clubs in Amsterdam, to cater for the many tourists who'll prolly expect and want it.

But it's not generally considered normal for ppl to go to a strip club. I would not accept it either, in spite of my own liberal views. Visiting one together just out of curiosity, fair enough.
But as a normalcy, like going to a pub? No way! And if my man would want that, he can pack his bags and go.

Apart from all that: Why is the woman insecure by default if she doesn't want it? Maybe the man has a problem for needing it. If you're in a healthy relationship, why would a man need to ogle other (half) naked women?
It's not like a woman should tolerate everything from her man just cos he's got his brain in his pants?

I been once a long time ago.

Personally I have no desire to be at a strip club, so I would hope my partner would have the same feeling.

that's okay, the strip clubs aren't for everybody. I been to a few but when I'm involved I don't go....I don't want to disrespect of bring unnecessary insecurities to our thing.......go for you ! a man that admits he don't go.......
