Some people are really evil hearted & people can't stand to see others happy.
The same best friends who you confide & trust with every minute detail of your personal life could be your worst enemy that is on a mission to destroy you.
I'm sure many of us must have heard the phrase a" a wolf in sheeps clothing".

Anyway so in a scenario where two attractive opposite individuals get mutually attracted to each other, & are so good together in everyway & together look so so hot & amazing will get the nay sayers & jealous haters uptight & they will try anything for them to never be happy or ever her together.
Thats how fkd up the world is, most cant handle others success & happiness & want them to be as miserable as them

Agree with you, Romeo. The nastiest thing is when close people ( nature children from previous marriage, for example) create obstacles and barriers on their dads' ways forward to happiness.

Yes the world is messed up and there are a lot of messed up people in it, but you can choose to trust or not. I trust my friends and family implicitly. If I don't trust you you're not my friend at all. I don't have to watch my back because my loved ones are doing it for me as I am for them. If you don't have this level of trust in your life then you don't have the right people in it.

I read a quote one day although I can't remember exactly how it goes, but it was something like

The envious die each time the envied are given applause

and just get on with your life..

I know.. but it's easy to get sucked into everybody else is BS and drama..
There's a saying... you lay down with dogs you wake up with fleas..
Maybe you need to put some distance between you and the dogs in your life.... okay I'm not saying the people in your life are dogs..lol... it just means if the people you associate with cause you grief then stop associating with them..yes... stay positive brother

"Most" people don't care about others success and happiness.
A small number of people want others to be as miserable as them.
An even smaller number of people want others to be as miserable as them and are willing to do something about it.

The population comprising the latter is inflated in the mind of the person concluding "most can't handle others success & happiness..." due to a need to see themselves as the center of the universe and entitled to victim validation (poor poor you, there there, here's a back pat, we love you, it's okay, you're smart enough, kind enough, and doggone it, people like you).

Better to focus on some insurmountable evil against them than simply changing and working harder to succeed again, get happy, and maintain it.
Better to be hated by all than felt apathy towards by all.
Better to slap yourself and get others to run over for comfort, than slap someone else to get them to run over for support.

i.e. it's in the self interest of an 10 year old to cry horribly at the monster under the bed in order to cuddle with mom rather than simply ask if they can sleep with her tonight.

I agree with your statement and I have met people like this in my my life, I call them" psychic vampires", they suck all the happiness out of a room.Leave them behind, focus on positive energy,you only get one go around in life , be happy.

Focus on the positive people around you. The vampires will eventually disappear from your reality.....the less you focus on them.

This thread could do with a little balance. It's all one sided so far.

I'll put in another very valid viewpoint, because I have seen it be just as true as what's been said here so far.

That is, that the reason why SOME people get upset with a pairing of certain SPECIFIC "beautiful people," isn't because they resent or are jealous of them, they get upset because the particular pair of people, make it a point to declare that they are together because they are inherently superior to everyone around them.

Some people brag so loudly about how perfect a couple they are, that they don't notice that they really don't even care about each other, so much as that they care about social status.

There have been many famous pairings of rich and famous people, who lots of us peasants took umbrage at, because the particular couple bragged about how much better they were at romance and love, without appreciating that they could spend thousands on silly romantic whims, and the people they were looking down on and criticizing, had to scrape just to feed themselves.

I've also personally known people who got together, and who were sure as the Op describes, that evil people around them were trying to break them up out of envy, when what was really true, was that their friends could see quite clearly that one or both people weren't being honest to themselves or each other.

So. Basically, I'm just pointing out that this subject is far from cut and dried.
