You think? Haha.
It's quite something, these days it's extremely rare to see a real picture anymore, lol. I wonder what the impact of that will be on dating. Meet & greets might become extremely short now that the beauty filter is a fad.
It used to be "Wow you look even better in the flesh!" I think that soon will be a thing from the past, hihi.
No judgement, it's just funny if you think about the scenes that could come from this, haha.
Just when you think you've seen it all they come up with something new.

The irony is that there's tons of coaches teaching people to be real and authentic, I'm one of these coaches, yet then there's beauty filters making people go fake even more than ever before.

Peculiar, same over here, started last night, strong winds and gusts. Continued today, I think forecast is for another 2 days but I believe today was the worst grumble

We're having gusts up to 55 mph. It's bringing in the chilly weather. It's supposed to be about ten degrees colder this weekend. Brrr!

I'll be heading back to the Florida Keys for a month next weekend. I'm looking forward to being in tropical weather for a while before heading back to the northern weather.

i read an article recently that said one of the biggest mistakes people make online is To post " picture perfect images" of themselves .. while it is natural to want to be considered attractive ... to be successful in finding a partner ...it is more important to be honest , genuine and current when it comes to appearance .

Yes, media forces all this chit upon us. Take these filters... on FB all these quiz things you can do that incorporate your profile photo next to a quote also use a very serious beauty filter thing.

The effects... this topic came up in my course the other day, and I recorded a vid for my IGTV on it. Basically what it does is quite deep, psychologically we get the constant message as women that we are not good enough the way we are.
We have to jump through hoops all the time and we have to be slim, sexy, pretty, and have a hairless body and so on.
And the subconscious message with that is that we have to look like a top model to please men.
It is all still about that, even after 50+ yrs of feminism: pleasing men.

So on the one hand we have coaches like me trying to help women build up confidence to be authentic, to show who they really are and not be afraid to do so.. on the other hand side there's social media going nuts with hidden subconscious messages to by all means be pretty or suffer the consequences.
It is sad.

ALl this stuff is triggering the masculine energy side of women -which in this era is overdeveloped in order to manifest in this man's world- and which triggers competition (wanted to look the most beautiful and getting the most attention and so on).
In other words: playing tricks on a woman's insecurities. Yet again.
