Marcie: Like aunt Elaine said we have just been entertained by an angel. We didn't understand at the time but the Lord opened our eyes and understanding to what happened. We were saved from something we didn't even know was going on at the time. God revealed it to us when we got to our destination. He's always looking out for us.

NOTBEOLD,

a couple days ago you mentioned the fish and jonah story of how did jonah remain alive in the belly of the fish for 3 days and nights and how is ita side by side comparison to the death of the Messiah, Yeshua...

i was digging on that same research in the notes from when my Grandfather taught Hebrew in Bible Based Universities.

anyways, he points out something you never hear preachers preach on.

when jonah was tossed over the boat in the seas (acting much like Lake Erie that literally can bottom a ship out) he went to the bottom and got tangled by seaweed. as he was drowning he remembered God and mentally cried out for forgiveness. he dies of drowning and is caught in the seaweed when the fish swallows him. he is dead the entire time inside the fish. when the fish spits him out, God resurrects him like Yeshua is Resurrected later.

so, jonah was dead the entire time.

it's all good, Argo, i just thought you had another explanation that i have not considered yet.

and i can't brow beat anyone. if someone is offended or feels cornered that is because of a weak mind. this is words on a website that if they have meaning, only can have meaning, if you let it have meaning.

and i did, the notion of the cowboys hat makes it seem you might be a fan. i would never wear a pittsburgh steelers hat, so if i had one on, i would think others might feel i am a fan.

had i figured out your name immediately i would just ignored you.

but you did bring my story up in conjunction with your other views.

i would assume if someone makes an opinion while using your post, they would not run and hide when asked about it.

but that is most likely the character of yourself then...

what you did by bringing that up and then playing victim when asked about it, is a very known NARCISSISTIC move that is spoken on daily by Science via the Medical/Psych Field.

most atheist are Narcissist!!

wonder if there is a Scientific connection other than being hardwired differently?

Tom,

i believe i have made the claim to you about the 6 days of Creation (as translated in the KJV Bible) not coinciding with the Hebrew Texts.

and i've always thought the Earth was clearly much older, as i even used the 60k years under water.

but here is the Hebrew that clarifies where i am getting this from:

There is a kabbalistic tradition[12] that maintains that each of the seven days of creation in Genesis chapter one corresponds to one millennium of the existence of a natural days creation.
^
here the Hebrew is translated by the Hebrews to say each day of Creation should represent 1,000 years. making the 6 day Creation 6,000 years long.

Again
LOL
rofl

Not because you can quote but because of your need to quote.
Because of your NEED to keep this thread going.

I don't care what you believe the 6 days represent.
I don't care if you see it as truth.

What I do care about is how you repeatedly attack people because of their views (beliefs).
It strikes me as strange the behavior, you express.
You are so consumed with making others believe your beliefs you can't stand when others attack your views.
However, in most cases, they are not attacking your views but merely giving their opinion based on their views.

You didn't start this thread.
You "Think" you did.
As evident by your own words.

Thing is, anyone that might agree with something you say, will likely stay silent because of your attempted control power.

Then, consider the fact you are on a free social site in public forums.
Your rants are typical of trolling.

What I think is your faith is NOT what you claim.
It is a narcissistic attempt to control the thread.

Your need to control everything is probably hampering your ability to find someone (if you are looking at all).
I'd be surprised if any real woman were interested in you because she would fear your need to be right in all things.

This thread is dead.
Not because new people no longer answer but because you are starting to repeat yourself.
You need new material, buddy.

Not quite dead folks!

Here is some referenced 'research' I've done years ago, on the origin of the single god concept, or monotheism. And Red haired Egyptian nobles continue to be discovered in tombs even now.

http://www.burlingtonnews.net/redhairedmummiesegypt.html

Egyptian papyrus -- part of the
annals of Thutmose III [~1504 YBC]

"In the year 22 of the 3rd month of winter, sixth hour of the day... the scribes of the House of Life found it was a circle of fire that was coming in the sky... It had no head, the breath of its mouth had a foul odor. Its body one rod long and one rod wide. It had no voice. Their hearts became confused
through it; then they laid themselves on their bellies... they went to the Pharaoh... to report it. His Majesty ordered...[an examination of] all which is written in the papyrus rolls of the House of life. His majesty was meditating upon what happened. Now after some days had passed, these things became more numerous in the skies than ever. They shone more in the sky than the brightness of the sun, and extended to the limits of four supports of the heavens... Powerful was the position of the fire circles. The army of the Pharaoh looked on with him in their midst. It was after supper. Thereupon, these fire circles
ascended higher in the sky towards the south... The Pharaoh caused incense to be brought to make peace on the hearth... and what happened was ordered by the Pharaoh to be written in the annals of the House of life... so that it be remembered for ever."

~ 1400 YBC Egypt. 18th Dynasty. Amunhotep III. Sends first telegram like messages to others, on scarab shaped carvings. He makes the first trade agreements. He marries Queen Ty (a commoner), as a great wife, and makes her an artificial lake, on which she sails her boat, 'the atun gleams'; the Atun is the solar disc. Amunhotep III builds Luxor Temple at Thebes, and built a large temple of mud brick, plastered & with frescoes, where he lived. They have four daughters & two boys; one was never mentioned, and the other died before becoming the next King. Amunhotep III takes a new name 'The Dazzling Sun Disc Of All Lands'. When Amunhotep III was old, he made his remaining (unmentioned) son Amunhotep IV (who later re named himself Akanatun), his Co-Regent. Ref.: Bob Brier, Egyptian Archaeology (audio lessons). (see 1504 YBC , UFO's)

1380 YBC Egypt, Akhenaton became King, built the temple to Aton at Karnak, and the city Akhetaton.
Landsberg, A & S. (1974) In Search Of Ancient Mysteries. Corgi Books. Transworld Publishers, London. Pg. 127

Phaero Amunhotep IV, the ninth pharaoh of the 18 th dynasty, marries Nephratiti (a commoner), as a great wife. They looked similar, and statues of them were hard to tell apart. He re named himself Akanaton, (it is beneficial to the Aton, (solar disc)). He changes the traditional Egyptian artistic style, and developed the first MONOTHEISM religion, with only one god, 'the Aton' based on the solar disc / sun; no statues may be made of the Aton (sun). His own statues show him as oddly deformed, with elongated face, wide hips, and hint of breasts. Nephratiti had her own temple and made offerings to the Aton. Akanaton moves his capital out of Thebes to 200 miles north into the desert, at Akhet Aton (the horizon of the Aton), (now Tel Alamarna). The hieroglyph for horizon, is the sun rising over a notch in the mountain. He stated 'There can be no vision fashioned of the Atun'. [an abstract god], 'Only I know the Aton'.
He has six daughters, all are shown with elongated heads; and his son was Tutankamon.
Akanaton writes his own religion, complete with prayers. The tombs of the nobles were made on the East bank, instead of the traditional west bank, but not completed; but he was buried in the Royal Tomb, in a waddi, looking similar to Valley Of The Kings.
His remaining daughter 9 yrs old Ancusunpartun, and 8 yr old son Tutank aton from another wife, marry to become King and Great Wife. They give up the new religion and move back to Thebes, and change names to Tutankamon and Ankusanamon, probably on advice from older advisors. Tutankamon died suddenly at 18 yrs old, with no children surviving. Ankusanamon (last royal blood), writes to the traditional enemies, the Hittites, to send a prince to help rule; the Hittite prince is killed at the border; Eye, the Chief vizier marries Ankusanamon, and takes the crown, ruling Egypt. Ankusanamon, then disappears from history.
Ref.: Bob Brier, Egyptian Archaeology (audio lessons).

Sooo
Could this be a religion based on what happened to Thutmose III when he and his contemporaries saw inumerable flaming discs in the sky, (see 1504 YBC , UFO's); were Akanatun and his half sister wife alien hybrids or just deformed ? Before the Egyptian 18th Dynasty, all belief systems around the world had many gods, deities, & demi-gods, each dedicated to a specific role.

So I reckon a UFO fleet did a "Midwich Cuckoos" job on the king of Egypt at approx. 1504 YBC, and he started breeding hybrid or mutated offspring. The changes continued for a hundred years, and you get long headed white skinned red head nobles interbreeding to keep their genetics concentrated.

Then generations later, a hybrid king invents monotheism and all its trappings, to concentrate all religious powers and control to one lot of priests, his. It is profitable, and religion becomes authoritarian and militant and compulsory and invasive and deadly.

Just a thought.

nice assumption Tom,

i figured you would take the side of someone using your words but not willing to express reason why for using them.

maybe that is because the insanity required to be as such can also be found in all of you?

but if i am wrong to ask what was meant, when my reference was used against me, then i am definitely in the middle of some very mentally ill people!!

and i guess if i said, Tom, what you claimed about the universe is a load of crap.

and if you replied back, how so?

and then i reply, stop talking to me, even though i brought your information up and tried to make it appear as bullsh...t...you replying to me is an ATTEMPT to BROW BEAT me.

i am not sure about you, but that seems odd to do that to someone and then play victim!!

in fact, according to Science, it is downright insanity to behave as such!!

I believe in the 1977 encounter because although science could theoretically explain everything, I do not need an explanation in order to believe communicated truth. The complete material nature of how it happened is not the important communicated truth. Communicated truth is easier to grasp without the constraints from the usual way of experiencing the world.

The communication dynamics could be quite better, but there is nothing wrong with anyone in this thread.

The ideas I have mostly are ones I have found from other people on this forum. By the way, I have been reading posts the past few months, I just had no way to write or acknowledge that I was reading them.

The worst risks I can imagine on here are manageable. There is the limit of what one can emotionally tolerate, in which case one can let go amd do something else. There is the risk of getting kicked off the website, in which case one can request an admin review and get reactivated. All in all, stake is pretty low. I would be dancing on the table tops, and going at it, but I have seen harsh things in real life, so I am content to just enjoy the company of the folks on this site.

The matter of if God does not exist or does exist is a matter of what one worships and a matter of linguistics. Different people and at different times are in pursuit of a select few of the many reasons for interest in this subjective question.

of course, when i was a sinner and riding for hells henchmen, that kind of back n forth where you get set up and then turned around on you like you are the bad person...that would get you beat to the condition of FUBAR!!

i guess it is good i did find God, because when that stupidity happens now, i just point it out for being the insane mental midget they truthfully are!!
