I ve notice this.. Why young girls/ guys like a old man/woman.... And old man/woman like young girls/guys?.... Why they dont like same as their ages? Lol alot is because as you get older certain meds and health conditions create problems in libido.. Not to mention the fact that there is a difference in life expectancy between male and female. But you forgot to add middle age that prefer older because of their experiences with younger and their own age. |

I honestly don't think many young men want anything serious with older women. .its the experience they want then will move on to someone their own age
Now I do believe that young women everywhere (not all of course) are attracted to older men because typically women mature faster. As for older women and men liking younger....usually women get bored of the young men for many reasons and move back into their own age bracket.....older men....well they will always love having a young woman around. Been that way since the beginning of time

Typically, when you see an older woman with a younger man, the age difference isn't as broad, but any one or all of those could be in play. Then again, those are generalizations. I've seen some couples with what I thought were significant age differences that seemed fairly "normal," and happy. And together for many, many, years. |

Personally, I can only hold a conversation with people my age. The relatibility factor is key for me. I had my day in the sun. Only a sucker woman/man goes out with a younger person. I think its rather sad to see a young guy with a cougar, or a fox dragging a geezer. Kids dont help either. They all sing the same silly song, age aint nothing but a number.

It does happen some. As far as why, I really don't think about it. Just one of them things like why folks like different flavors of ice cream. I have never dated anyone more than a few years either way of my age. I have no want or need to do so now.

I tried dating younger, it made me feel older AND we had very little in common. I also don't have much in common with men who are 10+ years older. I prefer men close to my own age, even if they prefer women half of mine

I prefer men close to my own age, even if they prefer women half of mine Yeah, I used to say "5 years either way" until I realized that men 5 yrs younger weren't on my level either, mostly in a different stage of life. Many men around 45 aren't willing to enter a relationship, cos they only recently got out of one (I guess that's what comes with that age for them?) and many still have younger children, a no-go for me. So I changed to "My age - 5 yrs older". Like you say, 10 yrs older is too much as well. |
