IMO, I don't think that is entirely accurate.

I think that most men 'attempt' to woo a woman but don't properly understand what it is that a woman wants to be wooed with? Sometimes, I wonder if the woman really 'knows' that either?



I believe fringe benefits are desired by both parties. When those desired benefits are the same, there usually is no issue. Its when they are different that there is a problem.

Many men don't understand (grasp) the reality that a woman has finite reproducing limits. Only so many eggs and only for a certain period of her life. This makes her very selective.
Men on the other hand can be fertile for the duration of their lives (in most cases).
A woman is selective with reproduction activities because her ability to reproduce is limited, she knows this, and that establishes her sexual personality. After menopause (or the end of her fertility) a woman is already established to that trait.

Men, on the other hand, have no such limitations defining their personality. Some men can't understand the restrictions to sex set by women. For some of them it is a pleasurable activity not a decisive commitment.

This is why, IMO, women will declare 'no sex' and men will 'promote sex' while wooing. There are many other factors involved in these decisions but the topic was "No Sex".
