A 14-year-old Maryland girl claims she was brutally raped on school property by two students who had recently immigrated to the United States from El Salvador and Guatemala. One of the students was declared an illegal immigrant while the second student’s immigration status was withheld as he was still a minor. The two immigrant students had only been in the United States a few months before allegedly raping the girl at Rockville High School.

The Washington Post reports that a 14-year-old girl in the ninth grade at Rockville High was allegedly lured into a bathroom by two new students in her grade. However, these were not just any students. The two male students were aged 18 and 17 despite being in the ninth grade class and had only been in the United States for a few months. It is unclear by the students were allowed in the ninth grade with such an age difference, but it was revealed by the school that they had been placed as freshmen.

According to the girl’s account, she was walking in the hallway when 17-year-old Jose Montano approached her and asked her to have sex with him. The girl claims she declined but that Montano persisted. After rejecting the student, the girl says that Montano and his 18-year-old friend Henry Sanchez pushed her into a nearby boy’s restroom.
The Special Victims Division arrested Montano and Sanchez on campus that same day on charges of first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sexual offense. According to the Daily Mail, Montano is being charged as an adult but further information on Sanchez is not known. Additionally, Montano is being treated as a pending “alien removal” case as officials say he entered the US illegally from Guatemala seven months ago. The immigration status of Sanchez was not revealed as he is a minor, but it was noted he was from El Salvador and had only arrived in the US eight months ago.

The school is in a "Sanctuary City".

not sure whether being sanctuary or non sanctuary would prevent the crime of rape though

The story that I heard said the family applied for assistance there and welfare helped them enroll in the school because they couldn't speak English. ICE placed a hold on them so they wouldn't be released.
Sanctuary cities do that sometimes.

Yea, these two happened to be from Central America and Hispanic.
Too many are homegrown, but we don't need to invite illegals to

As a reminder, in this country you are presumed innocent until PROVEN guilty in a court of Law. And from what I have seen, media report almost never have ALL the facts...

I imagine the police will have all the facts and evidence collected.
The news should report the story as a facts are given to them.
Yea, their citizenship matters when identifying the rapists to the police.

I was assaulted by a white man out on probation,, but I don't make the stretch that probation is therefore a root cause or motivation for rapists or that probation is therefore a problem,,,,

I was also assaulted by a young white male who had been emancipated from his parents,, but he wasnt a rapist because he was an emancipated male and emancipation had nothing to do with him choosing to rape, the courts allowing emancipation, or me being assaulted

Rapist come in all flavors. These two came from a culture where rape is more common and few are reported or prosecuted. Rape in some countries
is accepted as a natural activity for a male or is their right
to do so.
Illegals come into our country and don't respect our laws or our culture. They come to a sanctuary city where no one knows who they are or that they are even here. Sanctuary cities and open borders allow illegals a haven to bring their culture and crime in to this country...unchecked.

We know NOTHING about them...zip. Don't know what they did back in their country.. if they have a record back there.. we know nothing.

At least that is what I heard on the news~~ but can't seem to find the info on it..

It is a shame that they were accused of something they did not even do..

But still makes me wonder why they were even in a regular school and not a outreach program where they put kids that are way behind..

But if it is true she lied then they should bring charges against her for filing a false report... This is all over the news and will not go away anytime soon...

I feel that anyone that files a false rape report should have charges brought against them... due to the damage it causes the real victim....

I also believe it is too easy to claim, and hardly required to be proven once its claimed before the suspect is labeled and socially villainized

I haven't heard that she made it up. Maybe, but police collected "evidence" in the bathroom. I have read that several (so called) news
networks have been trying to quash the story.

If it is true, breaks my heart. Of not, shame on her. I know what rape victims feel and would never accuse someone of that or DV unless it is true because it can hinder real victims from stepping foward.

I would hate to not believe a victim. If it ia a lie....they should be prosecuted

Totally agree! All I was saying is if she told the truth or lied. She is too young to consent. Regardless, I would never tell a victim to get over it or give them a time limit for it. I know personally

seems she wasn't lying, they charged the two illegals with rape... i searched through 8 pages in a search, and her lying came up nowhere..
