It would depend on the individuals. It's difficult to generalize because it might not be the same for every doctor and lawyer who get married. Considering both have very demanding and time consuming jobs, I would think they would have a good understanding of each others role in the professional world and work together as a couple to make their relationship a priority.

Babies with bad handwriting, bad breath, but nice clothes?

The doctor forces the lawyer to have their head examined, the lawyer sues for pain and suffering?

The vows reading something like "I, the party of the first part, concurrent to but not in conjunction with any said party of the second part heretofore referred to as bride/groom, do solemnly swear, as defined under article 10 of subsection 3, paragraph 2-a, to possibly love you, upon confirmation by CBC, CDA, and MRI imaging tests...?"

A huge load of student debt they are now both responsible for?

A match made in heaven as one loves to hand out lollipops and the other loves suckers?

A potential nightmare in the bedroom as they both like screwing others and refuse to reciprocate? Especially if the doctor is a proctologist.

Either a short marriage because both would rather focus 20 hour days on their career, or an extremely long lasting marriage because both would rather focus 20 hour days on their career?

A lot of paperwork?

You have a doctor who will always get free legal representation for any malpractice suits that may pop up!

What is the result of their decision?..

A quick trip to Vegas and now they're married... what happens after that is totally up to fate.. at least that's what the doctor will say and then lawyer will try to argue it...lol.

the lawyer gets free medical supervision till the doctor figures out he was just being used thus following a rather convenient if not easier divorce if the lawyer owns up lol
