Dude went Loco. He was a gambler and just snapped. Gambling is horrible if your addicted to it. Ruins lives just like drugs.

He was well off with money from what they say and no problems with the law at all.

Some ppl just break down in life and snap. It does happen for no apparent reason. I had a friend who just woke up one morning and froze up when in college. Snapped. She was/is the sweetest buddy a guy could have had. I havent seen her since I moved to this crappy city im living in now. Been ten years or so. She's sweet as heck but they messed her all up putting her on medication.

I was in Basic training with a guy and in formation this dude said "Drill Sargeant, I need to get out or Im gonna have a breakdown". Drill looked at him and said "Damn right boy! Im gonna make sure you do!" Guess what?? The dude woke up one morning and just snapped! Sat up on his bunk frozen..Medics came and took the dude away and we didnt see him again. LOL. Some people just snap!

The mind is more fragile than a lot of people think.

I didnt hear that he was worth millions. He had a few houses around Vegas that was nice, but maybe he was wealthy once, but he wasted it on High Stakes Video Poker. Total dummy!

If you wanna help the victoms there is a GoFundMe account made to pick up the slak and help the people with Medical and Burials, etc.

Seems nice thing to throw them a little money and help. Be a Patriot dang it.

Donate a few bucks to help Texas and Florida. We got donation centers set up through our local Salvation Army. Throw them a 20. Its not gonna break the bank. Every penny adds up fast!

My gf and her husband are there... were there at the time it happened.... they were separated when she went to the washroom & minutes later the gunfire happened... neither knowing what was going on and whether the other was alive. They eventually got in touch and were both physically ok - thank God... but are so scarred and just don't know how to even deal with what they saw... the bodies... the blood the chaos... pure insanity....
there is no need ever for anything like this to happen anywhere in the world!!
My heart goes out to everyone.... :broken_heart:

The thing is truly heart breaking. I feel for the first responders. I come from a law enforcement family and have friends in local pds and the fbi and know what they go through on a daily basis. You will forget when and where but the images will always be with you

Glad to hear your friends were okay as well. I feel for them not something easy to deal with just knowing you was there and seeing all the aftermath...

Americans have the right to own guns, it is in the constitution. I do not own a gun because I have no need for a gun. But that's me.. other have the right to own them.

That being said, there is NO logical reason for ANY person ( outside of Police or Military) to own automatic assault rifles... none.

The is no game animal that could possibly take 100 rounds to take down. Nor is their any criminal that needs the same amount of rounds to take him / her down.

There are made for one reason.. and one reason alone. Which is to kill as many as possible in the shortest period of time.

And until the time comes when they are totally outlawed and taken off the market this type of carnage will continue. Even they it will takes year and years for them to work out of circulation.

Again, I'm not against guns. I've done my time shooting them in the service. There was a reason for me to carry it. And every homeowner has the right to protect themselves and their families... which handguns do just fine

over 50 murdered and over 500 injured...in less then 4 minutes. disgusting. And yet again, the NRA has nothing to say.

not the Action of someone that "just snapped"!
What he did takes weeks, maybe months of planning and procuring the Armory he is reported to have had!

In my opinion that does not matter. He gained the core assault rifles legally then had it modified.

If the core is not available, the modification does not happen.

This is not the first time a assault rifle was used to kill a massive amount of people in a short timeframe.

He sprayed the crowd. Yes, you could kill with another non automatic rifle or a handgun.. but not in those numbers.

Over 600 people hit by bullets.. in less then 4 minutes

nope, you can't do that with a regular rifle or hand gun.

And how many were hit buy bullets Moe. 200?, 300? 400?. Isn't over 50 killed.. enough? One guy was shot 5 times in a blink of a eye.

Does your statement somehow lessen the fact that a nut with a automatic weapon ( a weapon of mass destruction) was able to inflict all of this carnage, because he had the means ( assault rifle) to do it in the first place.

If this nut was trying to pick off people with a regular rifle or hand guns, would the kill numbers be soo high?.. or the injured number?

Again, I am not against guns. But I am against anyone outside of police and the military having the means to kill soo many with a weapon that was design for just that reason.. and no other.

you don't need it for sport.. or for personal protection.. so what is the reason for having it?

In my opinion there is no valid reason for a everyday citizen to have a assault rifle. It is not made for sport and not made for personal protection ( hand guns do that)... they are made to kill.. a lot of people.. in a short amount of time

I might take some heat for this but so be it. On the political spectrum I'm a moderate. When it comes to the 2nd amendment I support it I'm also not against semi automatic rifles. I'm a gun owner I have various guns. Rifles, shotguns etc. I have hunted big game before. Noone in this country needs a fully automatic rifle. It's absurd. Also 50-100 round drum magazines lile really ? I'm not 100% sure that what I'm saying is correct. I also don't have stats. Currently thats just how I feel. I know important the second amendment is to everyone of this great nation and me.
