You'll get notice with this whole body photo but mostly are perv. but if you change it to a face photo only almost no one is messaging you though you don't reaaly look that bad. Will you choose to use the whole body photo instead since your here to find someone?

I actually just changed mine to a face shot in hopes of cutting back on mail reguarding the rest of me. Lol!

Full photos don't mean you get more responses! I've seen half naked men in my searching here, and I wonder why that is permitted! Also a woman in bikini in with the men profiles!

It is preferable to have a profile photo that shows your face clearly.

Your two closeup photos are IMO are not good for main photos as one is just a cutout from your full body photo and the other one is good for fb but not for a dating site main pic.

I suggest you upload better closeup photos. Do lots of selfies and choose the most flattering one as your main photo.

I also suggest that as you have specific preference as who you would like get acquainted, do Search yourself and message the ones you like. Just be aware that no response is a response.. meaning not interested.

I am changing my profile pic when I want to.. sometimes full, sometimes face only...

I think it's better to receive few pms too as long as those who will send you are nice and real.. don't care about the nationality.. just wanna chat with lots of people.. just wanna make them my friend (I rarely reply in pm anyway, I prefer forums)...

Wait Sis.. since you said you're here to find someone, I guess it's better if it's a close up picture let them like you not for your body but for who you are.. and whatever your pic is, people still prefer to see you in real or in video (though be careful too).. they said pics here can be edited .. best luck to your search

I feel you girl... Same here.. I know I'm a newbie but I tried to post and changed my profile pic into a semi whole body and blurred a bit of my face and I got messages more..

When you post only a close up face photo, the assumption is that you are ashamed of your body or trying to hide it. Put that face photo as your primary but include other fuller body pictures with your profile so those who actually open your profile can see that part of you also. While your profile asks about your body, what that really means is all opinion.

Don't you? Doesn't everyone?
Most people don't even want to get in touch with someone without photo(s).
I want to see a good photo of someone's face. I see some use full body photos for a profile photo, I usually skip those.
I want to see someone's face, their eyes, their smile, as this tells a lot about them. I can't tell with a full body photo.
And I'm not going to waste my time to click their profile to see if they have a face picture. This is a time where people make decisions online in a split second. A time where we have to read and click all day long, having to concentrate all day long. You got to make it as easy as possible, not more demanding.

It just seems too shallow.

I'll just say.....photos are where you see initial attraction to someone. It helps your decision process with if, you want to take the time to even start a conversation.

I enjoy both forms, especially when used together on a profile. What I do not appreciate are the shirtless photos that almost show their privates. Just not necessary.

Well, when I see half a face or someone laying back in a chair or bed, it's a turn off. I have no one around to take my photo... so what you see is all I can currently capture in a shot. Perhaps work with a timer.. not sure if I can do that. Will think about it. Split second decisions, yes when flipping through photos. If a slight interest I go in to look at the profile.

I don't like any man contacting me without a photo, when he's trying to be romantic. I could be talking to a booger bear ! :
