Is this the same as looking for an intimate encounter? If not whats the difference? Ive been meaning to ask this before but i keep on forgetting lol.

My guess would be that in most cases it means an intimate encounter/relationship. I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule.

The choices here are friendship,marriage.activity partner or intimate encounter. These categories I guess has the differences but the last two are confusing. So activity partner is a nicer way to say they seek intimate encounter then . Thanks

I would take the meaning of activity partner in this case as someone to do activities with, i. e. Hiking, rafting, workout, go to music festivals.. Things of that nature.. But it could mean the other to someone else.

I had an activity partner. we go out to eat, karaoke. We have been best of friends for over 25 years.

Even when i met someone 20 years ago, when she would get lonely, she would call me and we would go out.

My ex couldnt stand her, go figure, but you just dont drop friends for no reason at all.

most of the real peeps if have come across looking for activity partners have exceptionally busy lives. so just getting together for activities removes the stress of trying to rush the relationship building.

Activity partner is a man to do things with you, you enjoy doing. Dinners out. Movies, walks in a park, festivals, fairs, etc. whatever coupes enjoy.

I have had activity partners. It works for me because. I only get into sexual things with s man that is serious. Willing to make a commitment to a relationship. But that is just me.

"Activity" is one of those words that mean different things to different people.

Some people see 'Dating' as an activity.
Some may see 'Sex' as an activity.
Some people look at events as activities and will often look for a date or 'escort' when they attend those social events.
Some people may just want someone to go to the movies or an amusement park or ball game.


You forgot 'Relationship'.

"Relationship" can include all other choices but not always.
To me, 'Relationship' means I am open to nearly any type of interaction with a woman.
Most people that have an "Activity Partner" are usually also "Friends" but may not be "Intimate" or seeking "Marriage".

Most people already have "Activity Partners" and consider them "Friends" but not "Lovers". These are the people you call and ask if they want to go to the craft show, concert or beach with you. Gender is not usually a prerequisite.

Some folks have things they enjoy doing but would rather not do them alone, like golfing, going to the theater, or just traveling.

But yeah, some folks mean sex when they say "activity partner".

An activity partner, on this site, is for someone to do activities with. It is different than intimate encounter
